00:00had a pretty good game, or at least entertaining if you had Atlanta last night there on a Monday
00:06night football game. And yeah, I just, I think Atlanta has been a little undervalued because
00:14of Cooper Rush being their quarterback for the first couple of weeks. But that defense is pretty
00:20good. And that offense is even better there, Craig. Now Atlanta puts up 45 again on the Saints,
00:29who defensively wasn't terrible. We only had one turnover, I think, by the Saints yesterday.
00:36They've had a nasty habit of turning the ball over, but it was a fumble lost in that game yesterday.
00:42But they were just flat out play, period, on both sides of the ball. And Bijan had a monster night
00:49there, shocker, over 100. I think he scored in the first two minutes of the game. He took one to
00:55the
00:56house. And all of a sudden, Atlanta, very much in the conversation here. In fact, Greg,
01:02the biggest line move that we have seen on the early odds against the Ravens this week,
01:09Atlanta's at home, taking on Baltimore. And with the uncertainty of Lamar Jackson,
01:15that opened up with the Ravens being a three, three and a half point favorite. They're now a
01:20three point dog in that game there. So what did you what did you take away from Atlanta
01:26last night in that spot? Yeah, you you nailed it. You really liked Atlanta and I didn't. I thought
01:32that I thought that the Saints could ride a lot of emotion to that win. And it was very evident
01:36early
01:36on that they were not going to win that game. It was pretty much over from, I would say, the
01:40half.
01:40Um, look, I mean, Atlanta is is in that rare situation that they have a player that's a
01:48running back. That's one of the best weapons in the NFL. Like usually it's the quarterback and
01:52the receiver, but it does seem like Bijan Robinson is what Detroit would I mean, nothing against
01:58Jameer Gibbs, but it seems like that's what Detroit would like him to be Jameer Gibbs. And that's what
02:02Bijan Robinson is for Atlanta. It's kind of crazy that Arthur Smith, when he was the head coach of
02:06the Falcons, it was like splitting carries with Bijan Robinson and Tyler Algier and some other
02:12players. And you see how good Bijan is like, didn't make any sense at the time. And now it makes
02:17a lot
02:17less sense. So, uh, look, I, you, you have to give Atlanta the credit. I, I, I think they're playing
02:22better than they should. Like, I don't, I don't think that Atlanta is that good, but who am I to
02:28go
02:28against them at this point? They offensively since Penix is, has been back have, have really just
02:35look great on offense. He's connecting with Drake London and they're running the ball very well. The
02:38defense is okay. Uh, look, the saints are, are, are, uh, pretty much who I expect them to be,
02:45which is a team that's going to be right around 500, maybe a little bit better, maybe a little
02:48bit less, but I just thought it was a good spot for them on Monday night football, being able to
02:52host that. And, you know, it just goes to show you that maybe a couple of those close games that
02:58the
02:58saints played, especially the one against Detroit. It makes Detroit look pretty poor at this point
03:02for the saints that battle with them. The saints battled with the Raiders or the Raiders very good.
03:07We're not so sure they were off to a good start. Uh, you know, so, uh, gave Atlanta credit. Maybe
03:12it comes down to Atlanta and Carolina. I'd be very interested when those two teams go head to head.
03:18Yeah. Listen, I'm going to be interested in a Lamar Jackson, less Baltimore Ravens team who also
03:26doesn't have Trey Hendrickson. I don't believe, but Greg, cause he's already had surgery, right? So he's
03:31going to be out a couple of weeks. How are the Ravens stopping that running game? Because if they
03:36can't, I agree. Atlanta at home should absolutely be the favorite. Not that Snoop Huntley has not been
03:44with this team for a while, but I watched that, uh, that game when once Lamar went out and we're
03:50talking about two different worlds here with the Ravens like it or not. And I'm not quite sure this
03:57Ravens defense is up to the test to stop that many weapons. I mean, London was phenomenal last
04:03night. It's six and a half is a huge move for one player, but it might be justified here now.
04:11I think it is. I think Huntley is a huge downgrade from Lamar Jackson. I'm not convinced that this
04:16game can't be close. And I think the Ravens could win. I wouldn't rule it out. It's just when
04:22Huntley's in there, the Ravens aren't blowing anybody out. They're not beating anybody by 10.
04:26It's like, they're lucky if they get a field goal attempt at the end. And if I'm not mistaken,
04:30I did see another huge line move in that. If I believe it was Jacksonville, Philly,
04:35uh, where Jacksonville is now like a massive favorite over Philadelphia. And I did see today,
04:41if I'm not mistaken, that Lane Thomas out of nowhere, or, uh, Lane Thomas, he's playing
04:46with baseball. Lane Johnson retired today. Yes. Like, where was that at the beginning of the season?
04:52Like, wow. Like I feel he is just, I mean, they're going through it right now, but Joe Jacksonville,
04:58seven point favorites. Is that right? Or Philadelphia neutral site, neutral site. Wow.
05:04Another five and a half point line move, no running games. I mean, say Kwan's out.
05:09He's out. He's out with a hamstring for, I don't know who long said groin for Bigsby. Okay. And now
05:17you're, you know, you're all time defensive lineman, just retired problems in Philly.
05:24You're all time defensive lineman.
05:24You're all time defensive lineman. You're all time defensive lineman. You're all time defensive lineman. You're all time defensive lineman.
