Deforestation, the hidden cause of global warming

Between 25 and 30 percent of the greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere each year comes from deforestation. But many developing countries, such as Cambodia - officially represented at the Copenhagen Climate Summit - are economically dependent on clearing forests.
