00:00Look closely at this man, because the person sitting in that wheelchair may not be who everyone thinks he is.
00:05He was seen again and again in crowded public places, telling strangers that he had lost a leg after a
00:11serious illness.
00:12The story sounded convincing, and many people reportedly stopped to listen or handed him money, believing he could barely move
00:18without help.
00:19But after a while, some people noticed something strange.
00:22In parking lots, the same man would offer to watch over cars for drivers, collecting even more cash while staying
00:28in the wheelchair.
00:29That was when one person became suspicious and decided to record him over several days.
00:33The longer they watched, the more his story started to fall apart.
00:37Eventually, the person filming confronted him and questioned him about his condition.
00:41Not long after, the man was recorded getting out of the wheelchair, standing up, and apparently walking normally on both
00:47legs.
00:48The person behind the camera reportedly contacted police, and the footage quickly changed how people saw the situation.
00:54What first looked like a heartbreaking story now appeared to be a possible scam.
00:58If you had already given him money before seeing this footage, what would you think?
