00:00The engagement date is set. Sign it now, Sebastian.
00:04Or will you shame the family for a maid?
00:07I won't sign. My family announced it without my consent.
00:14You throw away everything for her?
00:18The young master speaks too kindly. I'm only a servant.
00:22A servant? After everything between us?
00:25There's nothing between us but duty, sir.
00:28Look at me. Say it to my face again.
00:31Every step you take from me costs you everything.
00:35I won't watch you burn for keeping me near.
00:38Let me go, sir. It's better for you this way.
00:41See? Even she knows her place. Now leave.
00:45You don't get to decide what's better for me. I'd rather burn with you than be safe without you.
00:50Don't say that. You'll regret it. I know you will.
00:54Nora, if you walk out that door tonight, I'll spend every day proving you wrong.
01:01Don't leave me! Don't leave me in the dark!
01:05I'm here, Sebastian. I'm right here.
01:10The dark can't reach you. I won't let it.
01:16Stay. Just stay until morning, please.
01:21Just tonight.
01:23Only tonight I'll stay.
01:24I can't pretend I don't care. I never could.
01:30But caring too much is exactly why I must go.
01:36If I stay, they'll tear you apart for me.
01:43I'm sorry. I have to go now.
01:47You held my hand all night. I felt it.
01:52You don't run from someone you don't care about.
01:57That's exactly why I can't stay. Don't make it harder.
02:01Then make it harder. Don't make it easy to lose you.
02:06I felt your tears on my hand. You can't hide that.
02:11Please, don't.
02:13If you kiss me, I'll never leave.
02:15Admit it. You schemed to climb onto him.
02:19Say it loud!
02:21Tell them you're nothing but a climber.
02:27Before I leave, let's settle one last account.
02:32Fake invoices paid Mrs. Howe.
02:34To spy on me. To frame me.
02:40This signature is yours.
02:43Care to explain it?
02:45That's forged. She's framing me again.
02:47Forged.
02:48The bank stamped every page.
02:52Now you have one less thorn at your side.
02:55Why do you say it like you're saying goodbye?
02:57I just tied up loose ends, that's all.
03:00Don't.
03:02Some things are better left unfinished.
03:04I won't trouble this house longer.
03:07Trouble? You're not leaving.
03:08I won't allow it.
03:11You'll thank me one day.
03:13For walking away now.
03:15Look me in the eye.
03:17Promise me you'll stay.
03:18I can't promise that.
03:20You know I can't.
03:22Then I'll follow you out that door myself!
03:27Where do you think you're going?
03:28I'm only a servant.
03:30Staying just drives you down.
03:33Drag me down?
03:35Is that the lie you tell yourself?
03:41Look at me and say you feel nothing.
03:44Try.
03:46This is for your good.
03:48Let me go, please.
03:50Look for my good.
03:51Stop hiding behind that excuse.
03:53I'd rather you drag me down for life than be safe alone.
03:56I don't want a good that doesn't have you in it.
04:00Don't say that.
04:01You don't know what you'll lose.
04:04I know exactly what I'll lose.
04:06It's you.
04:10One day you'll resent me.
04:12They all will turn on you.
04:14Let them turn.
04:15I'll burn the whole house first.
04:17Stop running.
04:19Just once.
04:21Choose to stay for yourself.
04:23I'm so tired of running.
04:25But I'm scared.
04:27Scared of what?
04:28Tell me.
04:28I'll face it with you.
04:32I'm scared that once I choose you, I'll never let go.
04:37Then never let go.
04:39Choose me.
04:40Right now.
04:41Choose me.
04:41Choose me.
04:42Choose me.
04:42You
