easy learning my Ms Paint clip 04 blog Butten and Template
Transcript
00:02Hello, very welcome. Welcome to video number 4. I'll just show you the background so you understand it.
00:07Ok, is that the video content? Downloadable content, content from scratch.
00:12I'd like to show you everything that I'm doing, just in case there's any problem with it.
00:17There won't be, but just in case you are.
00:19Ok, in the first video, we learned how to make circles.
00:23And then we learned how to make buttons.
00:26Ok, in the next part of the video, we learned how to make a basic screenshot of your computer.
00:35I think we made two of them. We made that one for your website, your blog site, it doesn't matter.
00:41And then we made a second screenshot, and we made the blog.
00:45So we're going to talk about the blog. From the right click, copy and paste.
00:51Now what I want to do, I want to customize this a little bit. Right click, edit.
00:54Ok, not for any reason, I'm just going to show you something different.
00:58Press black, press yes, and color that black. Press this, and do that.
01:05Ok, we've got two templates, it's the same template. Ok, right click, copy it, and paste it.
01:12Now we want to change this. Right click, edit. We want to make it nice and easy to edit it
01:18in the future.
01:19Ok, now there's two ways we can do this template.
01:24Because it's got a border around it. Ok, zoom all the way in as far as you can go.
01:29Go to the top, scroll to the top, go here, select all of it. Ok?
01:35Now, watch what happens when I do this. If I move it to the left, and move it to the
01:41top. Ok?
01:43I want to tick off it, click the dot, move it back to that edge. Don't do the bottom. Ok?
01:51Now watch, save it and save the app. Ok? Now, if you notice, this one has got a border on
01:57it.
01:58See the border around the edge? It's good to keep the border.
02:02This one has got no border. Now look, if you look at this one, you can see the border around
02:07the edge.
02:09This one, there's no border around the edge. Now, for copy and pasting, this one is better.
02:15Because you don't have to worry about the border. Ok?
02:19So, what I want to do, I want to jump back over to my photos.
02:24I want to copy the curve in the square.
02:29As you know, we copied it in the last part of the video.
02:32It's off the screen. So, one click, just copy it.
02:36It's off the screen. Just copy the front graph.
02:40And paste it inside here. Ok?
02:43We need to set the size for the photo for this template.
02:48Well, before we go around doing that.
02:50Ok? As I say, both of these are the same size.
02:54So, I don't have to worry about it. Ok?
02:56So, I want to go here.
02:59First of all, I don't get myself confused.
03:01I want to call this number 1. Ok?
03:05And I'm going to right click.
03:09And I'm going to paste it.
03:11Now, I need to open it.
03:14I need to zoom in.
03:15Don't forget there's no border on this.
03:18Ok?
03:18Click this and bring it up to the back part.
03:22And close it.
03:23And save it.
03:25Now, this is the photo.
03:30Ok, I'm going to paste it on the screen.
03:35Photo size.
03:43Now, we don't know what size is.
03:45Ok?
03:45Now, if you want to right click.
03:47If you go to the bottom and go properties.
03:51Go here.
03:52And if you look at it.
03:54Of course, you can put it off the screen a little bit so you can see.
03:58Ok?
03:58So, you don't get in the way of my screen recorder.
04:01Ok.
04:01The width is 127.
04:04So, in the photo.
04:07The width is 127.
04:11And the height is 110.
04:22Now, what I can do.
04:23I'll take this.
04:25And I'll basically copy the name.
04:28Or you can write the number.
04:29It's up to you.
04:30I'm going to right click.
04:31Hold it.
04:31Drag it.
04:32Copy it.
04:32Ok?
04:33Go to the first one.
04:36And paste it.
04:37That's the size of the photograph.
04:40Right?
04:41I'll try to put the number on it so you know what size is.
04:43Now, I can put this template.
04:46On this template.
04:47Or I can put it on this template.
04:49It makes no difference.
04:50I'll show you.
04:51Go here.
04:52Edit.
04:53The reason why I put the number on it is that you can see the number at the top.
04:57You want to go to scale.
04:58Click this.
05:01Turn it off.
05:02Ok.
05:03The first part.
05:05Is 127.
05:07The number will always be the same.
05:10Ok?
05:11That's why I'll tell you to put the number on it.
05:12Ok?
05:14And then of course the second number.
05:15Is 110.
05:18The best scale.
05:19Is scaling back down.
05:21Really small.
05:22So, hmm.
05:23Great.
05:23Now, of course.
05:24I could have closed this and saved it.
05:26Now, in future.
05:26That's my new scale.
05:28Which is pretty small.
05:30You can't quite read it.
05:31But it's ok.
05:33From a blog site.
05:34So now.
05:35If I'm going to use this as my standard template.
05:38And this would be my blog.
05:40So my blog now is over here.
05:43Great.
05:44So I'm going to copy the template on what?
05:46This one has got no border.
05:49Great.
05:49So I'm going to copy the new border.
05:54And I'm going to copy this one.
05:55That's got a border.
05:57And I'll put that one in there as well.
06:00And I'm going to copy my reference photo.
06:04Into the same folder.
06:06Ok.
06:07So you have my templates.
06:08This is what I'm sharing on internet.
06:10Ok?
06:11Now every single time I get a new photograph.
06:13A new template.
06:14Whatever I'm sharing.
06:15I take it.
06:17I play it.
06:18The new photo.
06:18So.
06:19Regardless of where it is.
06:21It's good to scale.
06:23Ok.
06:24I recommend.
06:25Front scale things up.
06:27Scale it down.
06:28Ok.
06:28So.
06:28Anyway.
06:29Just make sure you get like a pretty big photograph.
06:31Not massive.
06:32But just big enough.
06:33Ok.
06:34Because we're going to make it quite small.
06:35So it fits in here.
06:36Ok.
06:37The size as you know is there.
06:39You type the size there and there.
06:41Press ok.
06:43Go here.
06:44And you select the whole photograph.
06:46Ok.
06:47I'll put these in here.
06:48And you select the whole photograph.
06:48Don't save it.
06:49I'll put it in here.
06:50So it's a separate.
06:51Now watch.
06:52The wonderful border running.
06:56Right.
06:57You have to zoom in.
07:00Into let's say this corner.
07:01The blue corner.
07:03And paste it.
07:04And stick it exactly where the blue part is.
07:08Now of course.
07:09Because the background is white.
07:11Yeah.
07:12It's a problem.
07:13Because next time we bring the photograph in.
07:16We won't know where to put it.
07:19So you are.
07:20Yeah.
07:21A bit of a problem.
07:22Right.
07:23So.
07:23How do we fix that?
07:25Ok.
07:26Now watch what happens if I do this one.
07:28This one's got no border.
07:31So I can click the photo.
07:33And automatically.
07:35Sticky.
07:36On top.
07:38Now it doesn't matter how many times I do this photo.
07:44Because there's no border.
07:46It makes things in the future.
07:48A whole lot easier.
07:50Ok.
07:50So it's not to have a border.
07:52But sometimes it's better to have a new border.
07:54Ok.
07:55How am I going to do this border?
07:58Ok.
07:59This is what I'm going to tell you to do.
08:01The one that's got the border running.
08:03Right.
08:03So.
08:04Copy that.
08:05And paste it a second time.
08:07Right click.
08:08Paste it.
08:09Don't forget the background is white.
08:11Right.
08:12So this is what you want to do.
08:14Yeah.
08:16You go here.
08:17Change it to black.
08:18And you colour that black.
08:22You've got two different borders.
08:25Right.
08:26So it doesn't matter which one you use.
08:28You can use any one.
08:28Because you're not keeping the background.
08:30You're only keeping the actual framework.
08:34So I've got to look and see how it borders around the edge of it.
08:37And before I take this.
08:39All you've got to remember.
08:40If you've got a border.
08:42You have to copy it.
08:44And you have to place it inside the black square.
08:49Or inside the blue square.
08:52Zoom in.
08:52Paste it.
08:53And stick it right on top of the square.
08:57As you can see.
08:58Like that look.
08:59Now of course.
09:00Hey look.
09:00That one now looks the same as that one.
09:02Except this one's got a border.
09:04And this one has no border.
09:06Ok.
09:07But now if you try and put that same photo back on over that.
09:12Yeah.
09:12And you can see.
09:13Because it's noise.
09:15Yeah.
09:15You've now got yourself a problem.
09:16Because now you can't do it.
09:18Oh you mean.
09:20Ok.
09:21Yeah.
09:22So.
09:22Let's see how we want to do that.
09:25As I say.
09:25If we come back here.
09:27I'll just show you what I'm talking about.
09:29Of course.
09:29Once you understand it.
09:30You're on the way to do it.
09:31You're on the way to do it.
09:32Just do that.
09:33Get rid of it.
09:34Put the black in there.
09:37Select it.
09:39Close it.
09:40And say yeah.
09:41Now of course.
09:42I know my border around here.
09:44If we look at this one.
09:46I'll zoom in.
09:48Think about three squares.
09:50From the top.
09:52And there are three squares from the top.
09:53If I go here.
09:54And look at it.
09:55Ok.
09:55It's not three squares.
09:56It's two squares.
09:57Two squares there.
09:58Two squares there.
09:59Two squares there.
09:59Two squares there.
10:01I'll go back to this one.
10:03And of course.
10:04I'll go back to here.
10:05I'll zoom back in.
10:07If I need the squares turned on, if I do that, go here, turn them off, turn them off, scroll
10:14to the top, and just paste it back here, paste it, move it down two squares, only two squares, make
10:23sure you've got this on the top, two on the top, two on the side, and if I close this
10:29and save it, it goes back like the original, this one is the same as this one.
10:35Now if I go back to editing, I can change this one back to blue, and now I've gone all
10:42the way back to the first beginning, as I said, I'll be talking to you how you want to do,
10:46as I said, it's better to have no border, as I said, this one's got no border, so all you
10:52have to do is pick any photograph that you like, I click, go to the scale, scale the size of
10:59it, to the size that's here, right,
11:03and then once you scale it, I'll show you that, once you scale it, go here, select all of it,
11:11copy, go back to your actual template, and you can just paste it directly, go back to the template.
11:20And of course, it will look exactly what it's supposed to, and of course, if you want to change the
11:25colour, and let's see if you've got a photograph, go here, select all of it, get rid of it,
11:29pick some random colour, let's say red, put it on back, go here, select all of it, copy, close it,
11:38don't save it, go back to the one with no border, and just paste it over, and now it's all
11:46ready for a brand new template.
11:49Nice easy, fine and simple, right? Okay, that's video four. Okay, now, by now, you should be sharing the images
11:59on your website, if you know how to do it.
12:01Of course, if you're still waiting for me to show you, I will show you how to do it. I'll
12:05show you over on my blog site, which is called Blogger.
12:09As I said, I'll show you how to upload your photos. I'll show you how to add links to your
12:15website, if you want to do that.
12:17Of course, all of this content, everything that's part of it, is all portable content. My actual public website is
12:24portable website.
12:25It's a portable book, that's what it is. It's a mobile cloud. And the reason why I made the portable
12:32website is just in case I put it on one cloud, and I get a problem with it.
12:36Because all clouds, don't matter which cloud you use, they've got certain restrictions, which is perfectly fine for certain content.
12:46But sometimes, you're in breach of some policy, of some kind. Well, I'm in breach of some policy sometimes.
12:53So here we go, I'm going to make it portable, and I can stick it here, there and everywhere.
12:58And of course, one day it might be in China, the next day it could be in Germany, the next
13:03day it's probably in England, Australia, doesn't matter.
13:06I could just move the website around. As in, I don't want a website that's static.
13:12Yes, I know websites nowadays, they're all AI, yes. They're pretty good, but they're still static websites.
13:21So my one's dynamic. Yes, my one is dynamic too. But, even though yours is dynamic, and it's got AI,
13:28it's still stuck in one location.
13:31So if you're interested in watching more of your brains, as in, not only do I show you 2D, how
13:38to make 2D, how to draw certain things.
13:41OK? We can turn into characters if you want to. As I said, like I told you in the video,
13:46I'll show you how to animate the buttons, if you want to learn how to do that.
13:51We can do that in MS PaintShop, and we can put the animations together as a video over in Blender,
13:59because Blender can't do Glyph files.
14:02It doesn't do them. It does not support Glyph files. OK? Just engage you interested in that. And of course,
14:09if you want to make a Glyph animation for your website, the best bit of software for it is GIMP.
14:16Glyph is a photo software. It's free of charge. You can download it, and you can make an animation of
14:22your buttons.
14:24Glyph does it. Stay safe and friendly. Come back and see what other videos you get. So at the moment,
14:30you've got 4 videos. Right.
14:34I really hope you learn a lot. Later on, I'm going to show you HTML documents. So if you are
14:42interested in building your portable website from absolutely nothing, apart from the content that you create.
14:50OK? We're going to be using your content, or my content. And we'll be using nothing more than a simple
14:59notepad. OK? So if you are taking your file, go to new, make a notepad, and this, my friend, will
15:09be your brand new website.
15:13Absolutely free of charge. Well, oh yeah. Yeah, I'll show you how to make a website. I'll show you how
15:20to add all the HTML code to it, which is easy, copy and paste.
15:23You can get it directly off of Google, off the Google search engine, and of course, you can add it
15:29to your website, and you can make it look absolutely professional for free.
15:34Don't cost you nothing. All you have to do is find somewhere to share it.
15:40Anyway, stay safe, stay safe. Bye.
