01:10halfway down the bottom it will say rename if you rename it you can rename it if you
01:16don't want to do it that way you can give it once and then click it again and you
01:21will rename it that's what you can do okay first we're going to create a thumbnail which is super
01:30easy okay so this is here when it starts off it's down here somewhere that was my last template I
01:37was working on which I think actually was the full
01:40now what you do is you press this okay go here and turn this off now how big is your
01:48thumbnail your full now ideally
02:01and it's 72 and if you go okay there is your standard thumbnail template of course you want a colour
02:11for that now for now we'll stick pink in it
02:16okay and say okay we'll just do pink for a moment that's okay just so we can see on
02:22screen okay there's our new you see my photograph for my new video for my new blog site
02:29but as I say it looks simple right we are making it look really nice in a moment okay so
02:36go here right click it now what you want to do is make a new bitmap
02:42and we call that number two this one well I'll call it 22 doesn't matter just name it
02:48okay right click on it and then go edit now what you want to do you want to go here
02:53and zoom in
02:55zoom in a little bit like that just approximately what we're interested in is we're going to here scale
03:04turn the pixel graph and turn this off now what you want to do you want to create
03:11a button to go with your thumbnail that way someone can click on the thumbnail if they want to but
03:17it's noisier if you stick a button on it
03:20so I think okay let's try that and see how it works and then we'll change the photo to make
03:25it look a little bit more noisier
03:26as I say it's pretty easy and pretty simple to do okay now what you want to do the width
03:31this is the width of the bottom right because it's the same width as the thumbnail
03:38what we don't want is 72 it's too wide so we're going to drop that down to about 17
03:44I want to say yes okay you said it is that was great okay this is our brand new button
03:51now of course you can pick whatever color background button you want
03:55so for the video we're going to do black as black go here and we'll put that in there because
04:03on both websites everything is black and white more or less
04:07but okay let's leave it like that I think we can add some text in there if you want to
04:12so what do you want to put in there
04:16and how about thumbnail active I'm going to go off the screen I'm going to write thumbnail active just copy
04:28and paste it

04:54and now we want to change the first part I want to click on that little piece that's there I'm

05:06of course you can have the different colors if you want to if you want to change different colors just
05:12select whichever one you can have one word two words like that and you can make it feel different so
05:19we can just randomly put some color in there so it doesn't look so boring if you want to but
05:24of course I'm not doing that I'm keeping it plain and simple just basically like that and then what you
05:31want to do is kind of
05:32I want to move these somewhere in the center yeah yeah I want to move over a fraction and when
05:41I'm happy with it I tell you don't take off it go here
05:45put the pencil and it goes more or less where you want it if for some reason it's not actually
05:51in the right place just select the text itself look around wherever you want it let's say there
05:58okay and you see the part that's actually white just press the black press the paint bucket and color it
06:07back in if you don't want to do that you can press black and you can use pencil and color
06:12it in the pencil
06:14here's how it looks now what I'm going to tell you to make it look a little bit more nicer
06:17I'm going to say it to you as far as you can go go here and show the grid
06:25now this is where the magic happens okay well if you use the mouse scroll to the top on your
06:32mouse wheel and scrolling over to the left go back into here and press point
06:39use pencil now what you want to do you want to get rid of the corner and get rid of
06:45three of these okay so carry three from the corner free from the corner
06:51and why do you do free because free is a nice little curve on your actual button so when it's
07:01actually on your black website it's got a nice round button
07:08this is how you make a round button on your website for free of charge so that's how you do
07:15it
07:15let's close it look at that doesn't that look beautiful now that's what I say look thumbnail is active it's
07:24not active because there's nothing actually on it
07:27okay now what you do here is you want to find yourself a photograph so let's go to here and
07:34I want to pick myself a photograph and let's have
07:37I could put that on there but if I put it on there and it won't scare you a little
07:41bit so I'm not going to use that
07:43and I want to use this okay so it's like a two-tone background you can get any photographing you
07:50want put it here and say yes
07:53now what you want to do is scale your photograph now if it's your website blog site whatever it is
07:59it doesn't matter what it is
08:00it's only something it's only a thumbnail for someone to click on okay so what you want to do is
08:06go here
08:07make sure you copy and paste it wherever you want okay you need this the same size as the thumbnail
08:12okay so turn this off
08:14go here your thumbnail is only 28 it just makes it easier for later on okay and 72
08:25now if you're scary it looks like that it looks a whole lot better than that
08:31great of course if you put a picture in there it looks a hundred times better but as I say
08:36I don't want to put a picture in there
08:37because if you're kind of young and you're following the video yeah yeah the photos I've got damn it's pretty
08:45scary
08:45so I'm not going to show you okay so what you want to do is you want to put this
08:51with this or put this with this
08:54okay so this is my template right so what I'm going to tell you to do I'm going to check
09:00on that open it
09:02zoom in now once you do this all you have to do I'll show I'll explain to you in a
09:08moment
09:09just go here and do this you only have to do this one time okay go here select all of
09:14it right click copy it
09:17okay go to your photograph more one your template complete zoom in
09:25see that little pink part down there pull it down to the bottom don't pull it out just pull it
09:30down
09:40and touch the bottom of that now this is my perfectly working template this now is my thumbnail
10:00that you will see over on my site on a blog site and you'll even see actually over let's say
10:07on a
10:07YouTube channel it don't quite look like that it's not far of it as I said I don't want to
10:12make it look
10:12like it like a YouTube thumbnail well anyway anyway if it was let's say a video thumbnail this is what
10:20you would do
10:21I put a description there so somebody can read it and then what you do to make it a bit
10:27better is work out
10:29so you have the block choices and you drag this to about there now of course if I save that
10:37we've now got this template and we've got this template this one is from our website this one is from
10:43something else it's from my upper website inside here and we can put some text in there okay so we

10:56I'm gonna call you the text random text go back inside here pick a color you want black go in
11:03here don't draw it go in here don't draw it go in here text and just go here and then
11:08just have a nice little bit of description about what it is it's too small
11:13so it's like the text go here make it like 12 and make it probably 16 yeah that will do
11:2016 because you can actually read it now of course you can decide where you want to put that inside

11:28ideally I'd probably put it in the middle that's where I put it there but if I leave it there
11:35and take off it now if I close this you can save it and you can see this now is
11:41one new template
11:41as I say you'll probably see that over on the website okay ideally now this is what you do
11:47you take any photograph that you got any one right click on it and go edit this is all you
11:54do now in the future
11:55because we've got the two templates all right you go here you set the scale the scale that you want
12:02for any photo
12:04it's 128 and 72 once you've set the scale just go here select all of it copy it now watch
12:15out what you do this
12:16this is how easy it would be you download a template you download a template right so I'll go here
12:23click this you don't have to download it because you can make it yourself grab that hold it drag it

13:07family house they look pretty good honestly do it do they look a little bit professional they're not
13:14they're made in MS no battle but I'll say look at what you started with you start and move that
