00:01Hello and welcome to Meshly. Now this is a website that I found and it's been
00:06around for a little while and what you can do you can load a 2d image if you go
00:12in your computer you can pick an image of a character that you want and I
00:17recommend the front view either a pose or a T pose something like that and then
00:23what you do if you just press this one here when you click on it and it'll give
00:27you an option right here if it doesn't then if there's no option here just
00:32click just click on this part here and you'll say load the image click the image
00:37go down here press generate once you press generate it generates your character
00:43after approximately three minutes there about I think great so this is how your character looks now to get the
00:51texture on your
00:52character press texture once you press texture
00:58wait for a few more seconds and you will actually color in your character the same
01:03color as the character so she looks pretty great and then of course once you put a
01:08texture on her and you can then click on your character and over here you will have
01:14an option to put animations on your character now this video is here to kind of show you the
01:22bare basics and it's to tell you you have to watch all the videos in order
01:27because otherwise you're going to get a little bit lost now I'm going to tell you
01:30right here right now I ain't no expert I'm new at it myself now I do struggle a little bit
01:37when because I've already just died I did struggle a first to get the animations from
01:43the animation menu onto the character just so you understand that and now the most
01:50important part of all of it is if you think you can click right here and download
01:58your model you can't do that well so you can make a 3d model yes you can and you can
02:05look at it and it looks almost as good as your one almost and of course if you don't
02:11have a model you've got a photograph then of course it's going to look better than a
02:15photograph well I've already got Emma as a model I made her in a software called
02:20MakeHuman I like MakeHuman MakeHuman is absolutely fantastically great and you
02:24get almost complete control over the character yeah yeah anyway I'll talk about
02:30that about this one so how do you actually go back downloading your character
02:34well what you want to do is after you put a texture on your character after you
02:42put an animation on your character if you want to do that go over to the picture of
02:48the one with the texture you'll have three heroes go out you have one standard that
02:54will go over here the second one will be here that one will have an actual texture on it and
03:02the
03:02third one will be the one that's got the animation on it now it doesn't matter which
03:06one you pick down in the corner just here click on it and when you click on it go to
03:12share and click on post 2 when you click post 2 it will give you an option to send it
03:21over to
03:23Sketchfab if you don't have Sketchfab I recommend go and get it it's absolutely free of charge and they give
03:30you a bit of space and where you can upload your 3d content
03:32and not only that when you make content in here you can automatically send it over to Sketchfab
03:39now the bonus for that is if you put it over on Sketchfab and places like that like facebook and
03:47twitter things like that
03:50and what you can do you get credits as a free member and then the credits allow you to make
03:58more characters that's what they're for
04:01okay and to make a character from a single photo as you can see this is emma emma cost me
04:0820 credits
04:11okay now when it because the mesh cost me 20 credits the texture cost you another 10 credits
04:21so in total she cost me 30 credits that's what she cost me em just just so you understand that
04:30em
04:30you get fresh credits em according to the website em every month so it's up to you and of course
04:37if you
04:37share the links you'll probably get a bit extra so it's up to you i'll say em watch all the
04:43videos
04:43there's four videos here all together and one of them is to show you the website itself the second video
04:50to help talk about the animation part the third video to show you how to get it out of the
04:58software

05:21underneath there you'll see post just click the post send it to sketchfab and sketchfab
05:28will give you the download nice easy plain and simple sketchfab is a great site it really is this
05:34one could be a great site as well and i don't know why they don't give you a basic download
05:38i really don't
05:39know why they don't do it and even if it costs you let's say 10 credits and they should give
05:45you the
05:45option to download it of course they do if you're a paid member as a free member you can't do
05:52that

06:43a pose any kind of pose and then go add it when you add it it goes there if not
06:50when it opens like this
06:51just press that press that load the image press generate it generates the mesh press texture which
07:01generates the texture and then of course once your texture on it click your character and add the
07:06animation to it and that's it stay safe keep friendly as i said i'll give you the good honest
