00:04It's not worth it, but it's worth it to love the new songs of Atle Diap and Filipinos.
00:12It's his love letter to the Philippines.
00:15This song is Aubrey Carampelle.
00:17I was born in the Philippine Islands, where hope is the key to survive.
00:26Yan ang first track sa new EP na Three Piece o PPP ni Grammy Award winning artist Apple Diap titled
00:34Why?
00:44Climb up my people, let them know that we know.
00:49Lagi na lo pa ikon ikon, I can't go for that, no.
00:55I don't know why I love you.
00:58I think we have the same values and same concerns on what's going on in our country.
01:06And this is my first EP outside of the Black Hat piece and very personal to me.
01:40It's about love and love for our people, our culture and encouragement to speak up.
01:48I'm trying to inspire people with my music to, you know, a word of positive affirmation.
01:55And we hope that things will turn around and by us helping each other, you know, embracing each other.
02:12And it's, yeah, these songs are, I had our country in mind when I was writing these songs.
02:28GMA has a global footprint and also a reach to a lot of Filipinos, not just in Philippines but around
02:41the world.
02:41So it's a great partnership because I want to, you know, I want to be able to reach all our
02:50kabayans from here and around the world.
02:52And, you know, growing up, watching GMA, you know what I'm saying?
02:58And I feel like it's, you know, it'll be a great content house for the future.
03:14na Bebot.
03:15I just really feel super supported and proud that I'm being embraced by our kabayans around the world.
03:28You know, and I think a lot of philams and diaspora are discovering themselves and who we are.
03:37And we're being recognized around the world, our culture.
03:44And, yeah, I remember writing that song, calling my mom, trying to check my Tagalog if it was right.
03:51Because I haven't spoken in a while, but it's becoming, I'd say, it's an anthem.
03:57Aubrey Karampel, updated showbiz happening.
04:01We'll be back.
