03:54In an action scene they get the audience adrenaline pumping and excited and then go into the horror
04:00No, that's not the case here because we don't even see who the fuck is shooting at these guys
04:03There's no back and forth shooting or fighting
04:06They just get shot at and then they run into this bunker which has a bunch of mines in it
04:12And then there's a lot of wandering around
04:15And they cross this bridge
04:16They hear these Japanese war song propaganda
04:20Music pop up
04:21And something about these chambers
04:24Chemical experiments
04:25Germ warfare
04:27Whatever the hell it is
04:28But many of the issues
04:31Come up with
04:32The fact that
04:35If you don't have this be in the bunker and the mines
04:39That should be ripe for claustrophobic
04:43Situations
04:43And it's not
04:45The way it's lit
04:46Sometimes it's lit as much as this room
04:49I mean
04:52You really want to get the sense of enclosure and claustrophobic setting
04:56You don't really get that in this
05:00The dialogue
05:02A soldier is a weapon ready to be fired
05:04If you were you one of those weapons
05:09Maybe in the hands of better actors or better people
05:12That have personalities
05:14Or they're given the opportunity to unleash those personalities
05:17And the director or the writers
05:19Or both were able to inflict that
05:21Now that is really here
05:25Because while they're trapped in this bunker in mine
05:27They split up because of course they have to
05:30Because we can't have common sense
05:32Be like no it's not split up in the
05:33Steery creepy bunker
05:35Which isn't that steery creepy because the way it's lit
05:37And the way it's filmed
05:40Whether you like or dislike the descent
05:41I like the descent
05:42The director neil marshall knew how to shoot those scenes
05:46To feel
05:48An intensity to them
05:49But the way the creatures are shot
05:52So you you don't see them
05:53Quite clearly
05:54And it's noises that you hear
05:57And again you really get a sense of the darkness

05:59There's a micro budget film I saw
