00:00a fight with another inmate. Jane keeps pushing, hitting every motel on the road toward Ohio,
00:04until she finds one with a gold mine, a guest who checked in during the early hours,
00:09a man traveling alone, who paid cash under the name Reeves. Hearing that name makes her go
00:13dead silent for a second. Jane tells the clerk to call the cops immediately and snatches the
00:19keys to the room. With her gun drawn, she approaches the door and tries to peek through
00:23the window, but the curtains are pulled tight. Instead of waiting for backup, she decides to
00:27breach the room alone. At first, the place seems empty, but the sound of the shower running tells
00:32her someone is there, so she creeps toward the bathroom. She finds the sawed-off shotgun resting
00:36there, but the shower itself is a ghost town. Suddenly, Psycho lunges out of the closet and
00:41slams into her, tossing her around like a ragdoll, until Jane loses her grip on her piece. When she
00:46tries to scramble for it, the guy shoves her with such raw power that she goes flying right through
00:51the picture window, the glass shattering and cutting her skin to ribbons. This gives Psycho just enough
00:56time to slip out the back window. He grabs his gear and peels away in his car, like nothing ever
01:00happened, just as the sirens start wailing in the distance. After their first face-to-face encounter,
01:05Jane's obsession hits a fever pitch. She remembers seeing that newspaper in the room with the marked
01:10ad, and now, she's dead set on cracking the code of that message. Under a bridge, Psycho is also
01:17reflecting on the classified ad. It starts with the letters M and O, followed by a string of numbers
01:22that remain a mystery to Jane, until she checks her phone and remembers how people used to type texts
01:26using the numeric keypad. Following that old-school pattern, she finally cracks the hidden code. It's
01:32an invitation for believers, followed by a private phone number. As she speeds toward the next town,
01:36Jane calls Becky to help her pull a physical address tied to that line. At the same time, Psycho pulls
01:41up to a massive mansion, where a kid named Manny greets him in a golf cart. He introduces himself as
01:46Reeves, and Manny leads him to his boss, a man named Pendleton. Pendleton runs what looks like
01:51a cult, though to Psycho, these people seem more like posers than actual followers of the dark arts
01:56he practices in his spare time. Pendleton has a radio show, and his twisted words have motivated
02:00Psycho for years, but now that they're standing face-to-face, the old saying, never meet your
02:05heroes, hits harder than ever before. Pendleton looks more like a common addict who's exploited
02:11dark religion as a marketing tool to get rich. His words, which once served as a guide,
02:15are now nothing but an annoyance to Psycho, though he accepts the man's hospitality for
02:20the time being. That night, while watching the news, the killer realizes that the woman
02:24who busted into his room is the wife of the cop he gunned down on the highway. He places a
02:28call to
02:29her, warning her to back off if she doesn't want to be swallowed up when the gates finally open on
02:33March 28. After hanging up, Psycho hears music blaring from the main hall. Going downstairs,
02:38he finds Pendleton and his followers performing a sham blood ritual, a pathetic front they only use as an
02:44excuse to get high and have sex with one another. The next morning, the maniac gets exactly what he
02:48came for, a man's address, scribbled on a scrap of paper. Manny admits he was also let down when
02:53he first got to the mansion, thinking they were true Satanists, but says they aren't so bad. With
02:58the paper in hand, Psycho walks to his car. As Manny comes out to say goodbye, he watches the killer
03:03don his mask and pull an axe from the trunk. Psycho tells him to stay true to what he believes.
03:08It's the only reason he's making it out alive today and orders him to leave and never look back.
03:14Terrified, Manny bolts as Psycho storms the house. In the living room, he finds a group of people
03:19having sex. Axe in hand, Psycho butchers them one by one. He delivers fatal blows to ribs,
03:25necks, and backs, making sure no one escapes or even crawls across the floor, saving Pendleton for
03:30last. His fake hero is so high he never even sees the axe swing that shatters his skull into a
03:36thousand
03:36pieces. The mansion turns into a total slaughterhouse, and Psycho immediately sets out to torch
03:41the place, burning the phony cult house to the ground. Once the fire starts spreading,
03:45the glint of a sniper scope through the window catches his eye. He shucks his mask and props
03:49it up on a stick. A second later, a bullet tears through the glass. Behind the barrel, we see Jane
03:54for a split second. She thinks she's finally taken him out, but before she can even start her car,
03:59Psycho rams her with Pendleton's ride and speeds off the property. By the time the FBI agents show up,
04:04Jane lets them have it, venting every bit of her frustration. She screams that she sent them
04:08signals through Becky and called them from the motel. As of right now, she's the only one who's
04:13come close to bagging the bastard, while they just sit around drinking coffee and being useless.
04:18Jane lays out everything she's got. The Reeves followers, the band, the song, and the church where
04:24they meet up. She even has the exact date it's all going down. With all this on the table, the
04:28feds
04:28finally realize they should have listened to her from the jump and give her their full backing.
04:32At the same time, Psycho arrives at the address scribbled on the paper Manny gave him. He starts
04:37prepping for what's coming, armed with dynamite, explosives, and a crystal clear target. That night,
04:42when the homeowners return, he's waiting calmly in the garage. He kidnaps the husband and forces
04:47him to drive to the church, where Jane is already in position with her rifle, waiting for the perfect
04:51shot to take him out. But after scouting the area for a moment, Jane realizes she's been barking up
04:56the wrong tree the whole time. The secret to his mission is right there in his tattoo. It's not a
05:01satanic symbol. It's a radiation warning. Right then, she remembers Becky telling her the killer
05:05had stolen the letter N from an encyclopedia, and it all clicks. Nuclear. His plan isn't about
05:11destroying the church where Reeves committed his atrocities. He's aiming for a much bigger,
05:15more catastrophic target. His plan is to use the explosives to expose the core of the nuclear
05:21power plant, plunging the city and potentially the entire state into a radioactive hellscape.
05:26This is exactly what he means by, open the gates. Basically, he wants to open the gates
05:31of hell right here on Earth. The man he kidnapped from his home is Leo Wilkes, the plant's chief
05:36scientist, whom he uses to slip into the facility undetected while hiding in the back seat with Leo's
05:41wife. Jane sounds the alarm on her discovery, but all signs point to it being too late. Psycho drags
05:46Leo to the security gate and uses his credentials to get inside. Once he's in, the maniac tosses two
05:51grenades into the security office to clear the way. At that moment, the scene cuts to Jane frantically
05:57alerting the perimeter guards. While inside, Psycho slaughters anyone standing in his path
06:01until he reaches the control room. Both the police and the SWAT team swarm the plant, tripping over the
06:06dismembered bodies left by the explosion in the lobby. They move fast through the corridors,
06:10eventually reaching the control room where Psycho has locked himself inside with Leo.
06:16Paralyzed by panic, Leo is forced to drain the core's cooling agents, causing the temperature
06:20to spike exponentially. Jane warns everyone that this is a suicide mission for Psycho. She's tracked
06:26him for weeks and knows there's no negotiating with him. They have to put him down, or he'll take
06:30the whole city with him. Outside the control room, the SWAT team uses a blowtorch to breach the door.
06:35Once Leo finishes his grim task, Psycho butchers him and reveals a massive amount of dynamite strapped
06:40to his chest. Through the security cameras, Jane watches in horror as the monster uses his own
06:45blood to smear a pentagram on the floor. She begs the experts for any way into the control room,
06:49but time is running out. Marvin, the head of security, has an idea and leads her to a maintenance
06:54zone that's been shuttered for years. From there, Jane can see Psycho clutching a grenade, but they're
06:59separated by bulletproof glass, leaving her helpless. Overcome with fear, Marvin bolts and leaves his
07:04weapon behind, while Jane listens to Psycho, thanking Satan for his guidance, longing to join his side soon.
07:10Without a second thought, Jane grabs Marvin's gun and fires repeatedly at the same spot on the glass
07:15until the bullets finally punch a small hole through it. She slides the barrel of her rifle
07:21through the small hole and takes a precise shot at Psycho's knee. In that split second, the villain
07:26pulls out a grenade, trying to blow himself sky-high, but she nails him right in the hand. The grenade
07:31rolls
07:31far out of his reach, failing to detonate the dynamite strapped to his chest. Before Psycho can even
07:36scramble for the fuse, she puts a final round through him, killing him once and for all. Seconds
07:40later, the SWAT team finally breaches the room, secures the perimeter, and manages to stabilize
07:45the core, just before a nuclear meltdown occurs. A few months later, Jane is settling into her
07:49pregnancy when she has a chilling vision of Psycho standing right behind her. The jolt is so violent
07:54that she wakes up gasping and goes outside to check the perimeter, but there's nothing there.
07:58However, the story isn't over. The movie ends with Psycho, who is somehow still alive,
08:02being transported by a high-security convoy to a prison in the middle of nowhere,
08:07deep in the heart of the desert.
