The affected stations include Janpath, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Rajiv Chowk, Seva Tirth, Mandi House, Lok Kalyan Marg, INA, Chauri Bazaar, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, and New Delhi. Interchange facilities remain functional at four major transit hubs: Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Mandi House, and New Delhi. Although cited as a service update, the closures serve as a precautionary security protocol across stations in the vicinity of Jantar Mantar amid potential protest activities.

02:22while this is a service update that's been given,
02:24this is also a security protocol that we see that's playing out
02:29because remember, Jantar Mantar was the exact location where earlier the CJP protests had taken place.
02:37Now, while this time the CJP members have announced that protests will happen in Mumbai,
02:42it will begin from Mumbai,
02:44yet security authorities do expect that there might be some kind of commotion
02:50or for that matter, some kind of protest that may also play out in Jantar Mantar.
02:56So, which is why all of the stations, 11 of these metro stations
03:00across this very region, in the vicinity of the Jantar Mantar region, have been shut.
