00:01It is the fastest smart ever.
00:04It gets from 0 to 100 in 3.9 seconds.
00:09It has the Brabus 1 second wow factor.
00:11You can feel that when you're sitting inside and you're kicking off in Brabus mode.
00:15This is insane!
00:20Hi Björn!
00:22What's up? Finally!
00:24After seeing the Hashtag One launch edition, we now have here the sport version.
00:28The Hashtag One Brabus.
00:31Are you ready for a small challenge?
00:33Born ready.
00:34I will ask you some questions. You have exactly 3.9 seconds to answer.
00:38Okay.
00:40What was your first impression seeing that car?
00:43It immediately tells you it's a smart and it's progressive, it's sporty, it's luxurious.
00:49And it's urban. How can I answer questions in 3.9 seconds?
00:53Can you give us some details how we get to that crazy numbers?
00:57It's a B-segment SUV with over 400 horsepower or, speaking in electric car terms, 350 kilowatts.
01:04We do that with a 66 kilowatt NCM battery that can be fast charged from 10 to 80% in
01:0930 minutes.
01:10We're putting out a car that is going to benchmark in the segment.
01:16What is the most intelligent tech innovation of the smart?
01:19I think the overall package, the way the drivetrain is integrated and of course Brabus mode.
01:24Wow. Good.
01:27Let's have a closer look to the top line of our Hashtag One.
01:30It features both the smart DNA, very clearly, and the Brabus DNA.
01:35There's so many things inside and outside of the car that remind you of smart immediately.
01:41This was always our purpose, that we are growing up but not losing our roots so that it's recognizable as
01:47a smart.
01:47There's all kinds of really nice design elements on the car that are immediately Brabus and that make it outstanding.
01:53The beautiful air curtain in the front, you've got the red roof.
01:56That super nice radiant red and that atomic grey is very limited only for that Brabus version.
02:02I think it makes the car more exclusive and super sporty.
02:06Konstantin, in your personal opinion, what defines comfort?
02:09It is something I call confident performance.
02:11So the car needs to perform, it needs to give me, you know, I'll tell you anyway.
02:17It's what I call confident performance.
02:18You want it to be comfortable, you want it to be sporty and have enough power at the same time
02:22and all the creature comforts.
02:24For me, for example, a good stereo system.
02:26I'm not really somebody who wants to compromise on an interior just because the car is sporty.
02:31Therefore, the typical Brabus car isn't a race car but it's a premium, a luxury car that still has a
02:38lot of power just like this one.
02:40We've got a sports steering wheel, black and grey tones in the leather interior.
02:44We have the Brabus typical red stitching.
02:47You know what I like most? The red seatbelts. That is such signature. I love it.
02:53This car is a result of a 20 years old partnership.
02:57Absolutely.
02:57Can you tell me a little bit about the history from your perspective and also maybe an outlook towards the
03:03future?
03:03Brabus and Smart have a long history together and the question has been how can we infuse exclusivity, progressiveness, individuality
03:11into the product?
03:12And this is a continuation of that history and it's a very, very cool new starting point for a new
03:17electric mobility based journey that we're embarking on.
03:21What fascinates you the most with that Smart Hashtag One Brabus?
03:25It is how it takes the DNA of Smart and Brabus and kind of takes it to the next generation.
03:30That's on point.
03:32What do you think? It's the explicit target group for the Brabus version as the Hashtag One is in general
03:38very designy.
03:39It is definitely a car for the progressive, exclusivity minded urbanite.
03:43It is powerful, it is exclusive and it is stylish.
03:46And all those three elements combined make the perfect Smart package.
03:51But what about you? I mean, I have to deal with these three for nine seconds all the time.
03:55In what three words do you describe the Hashtag One?
03:57Well, I would say it's almost a new icon. It's super sportive.
04:04Here we go.
