00:19the table. We are in the big shaker earthquake simulator presented by Ready America. This
00:24simulates about a 7.5 magnitude earthquake. There we go. Drop, cover, and hold on. That's right.
00:30Under the table, something secure. Hold on. Cover your head and neck. This is going to shake for
00:38about 17 seconds and we get a magnitude 7. It could last for up to a minute. One thing that's

00:44important to also understand in addition to drop, cover, and hold on is standing in doorways is a
00:49common misconception. If that door slams and you're holding onto the frame, you might have just broke
00:53your hand. Also very important to do what's called a hazard hunt with your family. Go around your
00:59home, identify items like your top heavy furniture, TVs, breakable items, glass objects that aren't
01:06secured. We survived the big shaker earthquake simulator. I think I'm going to go back and look
01:11at my kit again and make sure that everything I have is still viable. I know some of the food
01:16I've bought probably has expired.
