Some trails look manageable right up until the ground starts moving under the tires.
The clip shows Nick riding down a wet, steep dirt track as the bike slides on the slick surface and he goes down in a fall.
"It was the first rainy day in months, and I decided to ride a new, very steep trail. I lost my confidence and crashed several times. Fortunately, the rain made the landings soft," the filmer, Nick, told WooGlobe.
The run becomes a steady reminder of how quickly rain can change a familiar sport into a series of resets.
