Trail features have a way of turning small decisions into big moments.
The rider approaches a drop on a mountain bike and rolls in at speed.
“This was my first drop on the Ellipse line at Les Gets Bike Park. This drop was the Oakley drop. Another rider told me to start further up and pedal, which I did, but I ended up with too much speed and went over the berm,” the filmer, Max, told WooGlobe.
After landing, the bike carries wide through the next section and goes over the berm, sending the rider down onto the trail. The rider and bike slide to a stop as the run ends.
It’s a quick reminder of how narrow the margin can be when speed and line choice don’t match the terrain.
