00:00i grew up in a house where you definitely were told to put on another jumper if you were cold
00:03so i was very late in terms of turning the heating on but now i've got a toddler um we
00:08just set the
00:10temperature at a certain temperature and then when it goes below that we just let the heating kick in
00:14and i think we experienced the heating go on for the first time oddly last week so uh we're just
00:19having to to make do and just see what it um all squares up at the end of the end
00:23of the year
00:23my previous winter was in london and london prices are steepingly high and i was dealing with octopus
00:31over there i'm dealing with ovio over here but we did switch on our heating last week because one of
00:37our flatmates wanted to and uh yeah so i would say like the relative months to switch on the heating
00:43would be from now to november depending on what your lifestyle is like but uh on the side of like
00:50price increases uh it's it's like uh it it's a 20 or a 30 fold price increase from when the
00:57heating
00:58gets switched on especially if you live in the like in the older housing because that was something
01:04which i was doing back in london and here also so for my next move i am uh looking uh
01:09for like
01:10electric heating that kind of housing so yeah it's a considerable thing man i think um given our
01:15supplier and that we're on a fixed rate at the moment i think uh probably won't look to change
01:21in the near future i think obviously as prices may change we may look at that in the future but
01:26we'll
01:27and we'll we'll kind of see see how we go for now
