01:45But that is not the only claim now drawing attention to Israel's leadership.
01:50A separate Haaretz investigation, based on reporting for an upcoming book about the hostages, makes another serious allegation.
01:59It claims UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed personally warned Benjamin Netanyahu about a possible major Hamas operation just 10 days
02:10before October 7th.
02:12According to the report, Bin Zayed allegedly spoke with Netanyahu for around 45 minutes.
02:18He is reported to have warned that Yahya Senwar was planning a large-scale operation against Israel.
02:26The report then claims Netanyahu dismissed the warning.
02:30According to the account, Netanyahu believed Hamas was more focused on the West Bank and that Israel was prepared for

02:39But there's another detail that makes the allegation particularly important.
02:43The report claims the heads of Shin Bet, Mossad, and the IDF were never briefed about the alleged UAE call.

03:01informed of any UAE warning.
03:04But there is a major caveat.
03:07Netanyahu's office has flatly denied the entire story.
03:10His office called the claim an absolute lie and said no such call with Bin Zayed ever took place.
