00:00Let me show you how we can set percentage limit in Excel. In my data set here, I'm going to
00:04calculate
00:04the total of all these percentage in this cell here by pressing alternate equal and this is
00:09going to show the value of 22 percent. But let's say if I want to put a cap of 22
00:13percent, so which
00:14means if my total is more than 22 percent, I'm going to show 22 percent. If not, I'm going to
00:19show
00:19whatever the live value is. This is how you do it. You're going to copy the sum formula from
00:23above here and paste it in here. And all you have to do is to say minimum 0.22 to
00:29indicate 22 percent
00:30as cap for the first argument. And the second argument will be the sum. Press enter. Now you
00:34can see 27 is above 22. That's why it's showing here as 22. And for some reason, if you were
00:39to
00:39reduce this down to 0.2, you can see that it will mimic whatever the total is. But for some
00:45reason,
00:46if this goes past 22 percent, you can see that total is 30 percent, but your limit is 22 percent.
