Learn how to write VSTACK() function in VBA.

Some users wonder, "Why can't I use VSTACK in Excel?" and might encounter issues where "VSTACK returns #NAME? when Excel is used via remote desktop." This happens because VSTACK is a newer function available in certain versions of Excel, like Microsoft 365, and might not be supported in older versions or when accessed through remote desktop services. To understand "How to Use VSTACK and HSTACK in Excel," you can refer to examples like =VSTACK(B3:C7,E3:F9,H3:I7,K3:L5), which stacks ranges vertically. If you're asking, "Why does VSTACK work with some pages but not others?" it's likely due to differences in Excel versions or specific settings on those pages.

Here are the formula used in my video.

=VSTACK_XYNET(B3:C7,E3:F9,H3:I7,K3:L5)

=VSTACK(B3:C7,E3:F9,H3:I7,K3:L5)

00:00I've got one request from my viewer asking to help them write a VStack function in VBA.
00:06Hmm.
00:07Okay.
00:07This is how I do it.
00:08First, you press alternate F11 to launch your VBA editor, and you scroll all the way down
00:13until modules here.
00:14Right-click on module, insert module, and after that, you're going to paste this VBA
00:19subroutine.
00:20If you'd like a copy of this VBA subroutine, please leave a request on the comment section,
00:24and I'll show you how you can get it.
00:26And also, I'll send you this Excel workbook as well.
00:30After that, press Ctrl-S to save and close your VBA editor.
00:34As a test, we'll use Excel's VStack function, consolidating or stacking all these four tables
00:41like this.
00:42And next, I'm going to use my new VBA function to consolidate these four tables, and you can
00:48see the results are exactly the same.
00:50I hope it helps.
