01:01I was so happy because that was mainly my goal. It wasn't medals, just the records because I know I
01:07don't have like that much palaros left.
01:10I was so happy that I was able to break it.
01:20Senegal this coming November.
01:22This is my first time going to Africa and competing for Youth Olympics. It's like really hard to get in.
01:29So I'm very excited and happy to see what I can do there.
01:48Bago siyang mag-one year old, natutong na siyang lumangoy mag-isa.
02:03So sa amin lang, we just try to keep improving.
02:06We've been trying to tweak some things sa swims niya and it has been working.
02:12So in terms of times naman, of course, we're looking at as long as we improve around 111, 110 in
02:18the 100 breaststroke.
02:19That's our main goal. She came in from 113 to 112 and then almost 112-0 na tayo in the
02:26last na meet niya.
02:27So we're pretty close there.
02:29I would love to reach the podium but right now, I'm focusing on breaking as much Philippine records as I
02:34can
02:35and obviously making it into semifinals and the finals.
02:38Alamin natin ang tamang teknig sa breaststroke.
02:42We'll try to break it down into about three parts.
02:44So the first one is yung body position.
02:46So we try to stay flat sa water, meaning we don't want to breathe so high or we don't want
02:52to go down so deep.
02:53So we just want to stay medyo on the surface.
02:56And then we break down the kick and the pull.
02:59So ano lang, the pull is like just scooping something.
03:01So when we pull, we breathe, we put our head down and then we kick.
03:05So you pull and breathe and then you kick.
03:13Definitely more challenging to sustain all throughout.
03:22May araw nakilala natin ang ating prodigies of swimming and one of our representatives in the Youth Olympic Games.
03:28This has been Martin Avere.
03:30And Rihanna Coleman.
03:32Keeping you in the game!
