Pope Leo greets crowds in Metz on final day of France visit

Pope Leo waved to members of the faithful in the French city of Metz from his popemobile on Monday (September 28), the fourth and final day of his trip to the country. Thousands of people lined the streets as Leo made his way through the city to Saint-Etienne Cathedral - a gothic-style historical monument built between the 13th and 16th centuries. Leo is set to hold mass at the cathedral before attending a farewell ceremony at Metz-Nancy-Lorraine International Airport ahead of his return to the Vatican.
