Police Major set to testify on VP Sara’s alleged ownership of various 'weapons'

The prosecution panel presented Police Major Jerickson Sanggalan as a witness on the 30th day of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial on Monday, Sept. 28.  Before the witness took the oath, Senator-judge Erwin Tulfo questioned the relevance of Sanggalan to the impeachment trial. Presiding Officer Francis “Chiz” Escudero explained that the police officer is expected to testify on Duterte’s alleged ownership of various 'weapons.'  Tulfo questioned what kind of “weapons” were being referred to, but Escudero declined to provide further details.
