They’re Losing So Badly They Want A Deal
President Trump just shut down Iran’s latest ceasefire proposal in blunt fashion outside the White House. He said Tehran is desperate to reopen the Strait of Hormuz immediately because “they’re losing so badly” and have no money coming in after the U.S. imposed what he called the greatest blockade in military history — a “wall of steel.”
Trump claimed total control of the waterway, with 29 ships passing through just last night, while Iran sits cash-starved after closing the strait themselves. He made clear he likes making deals, but this one is completely unacceptable.
A sharp, unfiltered message that Iran’s strategy has backfired hard.
