President Trump just dropped a major language shift while speaking outside the White House. He is no longer calling it AI. He now prefers “super intelligence” — or SI for short.
“Artificial means it’s fake,” Trump explained, “and it’s not fake. It’s just very strong intelligence.” He said the new name is more accurate and more elegant, and claimed even Chinese President Xi Jinping liked the idea during their recent talks. Trump also made clear the United States will not hit the brakes on SI development, arguing America is already leading China by at least a year.
A small word change with big implications for how the world talks about the technology race.
