Sometimes the hardest part of a good jump is the part that comes after it.
The clip shows a mountain biker riding up a dirt takeoff and lifting into the air over a jump.
“My brother and I built some dirt jumps, and this was our first time hitting them,” the filmer, Max, told WooGlobe.
The rider comes down off the landing, but the bike angles sideways on contact and slides out, sending the rider to the ground.
It’s a quick reminder that even a solid launch can unravel in an instant. The moment ends as the rider and bike come to a stop on the dirt.
