00:12opening time. Keritapi Tanah Malayu Berhad, KTMB, confirmed that the entrance was not opened at
00:205.30am as scheduled after the staff member assigned to open the station was unable to
00:26report for duty on time due to health issues. When officials were alerted at around 5.55am
00:33that the gates were still locked, they tried to contact the staff member but received no response.
00:39A counter clerk from a nearby station who was scheduled to start work at 7am was then redirected
00:45to Anak Bukit, arriving at 6.30am to unlock the gates. A video that went viral on social media
00:53showed several frustrated passengers scaling the station's perimeter fence, apparently in an
00:59attempt to catch their scheduled trains. KTMB estimated that around 25 passengers were affected,
01:07with two commuter services, train 2901 at 5.58am and train 2903 at 6.18am, missed. KTMB has apologized
01:18to the affected passengers, stressing that station access must follow its scheduled operating hours.
