00:00I hope you watch my interview. We're backstage after the show and I would
00:05love to share the collection with you. It's really a dream. I come to work
00:09every day and I love what I get to do. I have the greatest job in the world. I
00:14get to design the clothes and be creative director of Carolina Herrera, a
00:18house that has represented beauty and glamour and joy for now 45 years. It was
00:25in 1981 that Carolina showed her first collection in New York. So in addition
00:30to celebrating our brand codes this season, it was also a love letter to New
00:34York City. I love colour and since I arrived as creative director eight years
00:38ago, it's been my goal to make Herrera a house of colour and really the
00:44inspiration for that came from that iconic Andy Warhol portrait of Carolina.
00:49These bold vibrant colours and it was particularly special this season that we
00:54partnered with the Warhol Foundation and were able to use that iconic image for
01:00two handbags, a dress, as well as banners hanging outside the building. She said
01:05that was so sweet. She told me after, she said Andy would have loved that dress, which
01:09was really amazing. I mean, you know, Mrs. Herrera comes from Venezuela. We're a
01:15part of Puj, which is a company based in Spain. The Latin community is such an
01:21important part of who this house is and there's an energy and an embrace of colour
01:27and of getting dressed and celebrating life and living beautifully that's so
01:34inspiring to me and something I always try to infuse into the collections.
