Penelope and Blueberry continue following the paper trail surrounding Maribel Mango’s suspicious transfer.
When they investigate the records of two other inmates who supposedly transferred out of Peel Block, they discover something that makes an isolated paperwork error much harder to believe: all three transfers share the same authorization number.
With help from Gloria Guava and one seemingly ordinary answer from Officer Cranberry, they learn that the number identifies an approving office.
The mystery has changed. They’re no longer asking whether the transfers are connected. Now they need to discover where the authorization came from.
