00:20Zhong will participate from September 24 to 26 in the general debate of the 81 United Nations
00:29General Assembly, which is already underway. According to China's foreign ministry, Han will present
00:36Beijing's position on the international situation, major regional and international issues, and the
00:42work of the United Nations. He will defend what China calls the true multilateralism,
00:50promote peace and development, and advocate strengthening the authority and role of the
00:57United Nations, as well as advancing global governance reform.
01:02China's participation also coincides with the 55th anniversary of the restoration of its
01:10legitimate seat at the United Nations. During his stay in New York, Han will also take part in a
01:18high-level dialogue, marking the fifth anniversary of the Global Development Initiative, proposed by
01:26the President Xi Jinping at the United Nations. The meeting will address development cooperation and
01:34implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Han will also meet with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres,
01:44the President of the General Assembly, and the leaders from other countries.
