00:00Alibaba, ticker symbol B-A-B-A, up better than 3% here this morning.
00:05It unveiled a new artificial intelligence chip and plans for more powerful models,
00:11including what it said was China's most powerful AI chip.
00:15It says it can deliver three times the performance of the company's previous generation.
00:20And it plans to train a new AI model at the scale of 5 to 10 trillion parameters.
00:26I don't know what that means.
00:27I don't know.
00:27But it sounds like an awful, awful lot.
00:30And it says it can be a real competitor to NVIDIA's chip.
00:34On a similar note, I downloaded Muse app to my phone.
00:37Oh, Meta's AI agent.
00:39Yeah.
00:39So now I've got like four or five of them.
00:41I don't know what I'm doing, but it's on the phone.
00:42It's taking up a lot of space on your phone.
00:44You're very agnetic.
00:46Yeah, exactly.
00:47I'm getting there.
00:48Agentic.
00:48All right.
00:49Is that how you say it?
00:50Agentic?
00:50Agentic AI.
00:51Agentic.
00:52That's what our folks here say.
00:53That's the stuff you actually use it for, right?
00:56Right.
00:56I mean, Ed Lovell was a brand new baby.
00:58Didn't he name it?
01:00Agentic AI.
01:01Nice.
01:02Okay.
01:03Also, by the way, I'm sure I would imagine this chip or what Alibaba is doing may come
01:08up during the summit between Xi Jinping and President Trump this week.
01:11I'm just saying.
01:12Okay.
01:13Okay.
01:13Now let's move on to on holding because we either never talk about a stock or we talk
01:17about it like twice in a week, you know?
01:19So this is the ticker symbol ONON.
01:21It is up another 11% today.
01:24It expects sales growth in the high teens over the next few years.
01:28Remember, this is the Swiss sneaker maker that's trying to make a move here and take
01:32market share away from Adidas or Adidas in Germany and Nike.
01:36So we spoke recently about soccer star Mbappe leaving Nike to become the face of on holding.
01:42So the stock seems to be out with more good news and we're seeing it higher here.
01:47Although it is down 41% year to date on holding.
01:51All right.
01:51Okay.
01:52And a lot of those shoes are on town.
01:53Roger Federer owns two and a half to three percent, it says.
01:56Oh, good.
01:56I thought it would have been more, but that's still, that's got to be huge.
01:58That's pretty good, though.
02:00Yeah.
02:00And then let's move to biopharma.
02:03So Viking Therapeutics, ticker symbol VKTX, having a pretty incredible day.
02:08The stock is up about 30% here in the pre-market.
02:11It was up more than 50% earlier.
02:13It announced positive top line results from a study of dosing regimens for maintaining
02:19weight loss.
02:20And this is really important because people keep talking about the GLP-1s and how, yeah,
02:24the weight loss is great while you're on them, but what happens when you're off them?
02:27How do you maintain the weight loss?
02:28Okay.
02:29So this study showed that this drug led to a 22% weight loss over 33 weeks in what they
02:36call a maintenance study.
02:38And they're saying it could be a contender to Eli Lillianovo.
02:41I was reading Mr. Pritzker of the Illinois.
02:43It's all that, yeah.
02:4480 pounds or whatever.
02:46Yeah, good for him.
02:48If you're on it, then do you just assume you're on it for life?
02:52I don't think you want to be on it for life, though, right?
02:56Yes is the answer in my experience.
02:59You know, maybe not every week.
03:01You're not on it.
03:01You're caught and chiseled.
03:02No, I'm not.
03:03But I know someone who is, and it's gone from once a week to once every two weeks kind
03:08of thing.
03:08Oh, so the dosing changes, maybe.
03:10Yeah, it is.
03:11Just depending if you get to your fighting weight, then you can kind of turn it down.
03:13You're on it for life.
03:14Yeah.
03:14Yep.
