00:07Yesterday, I saw on Twitter, multiple people tagged me in tweets about it.
00:12My buddy even mentioned it to me.
00:14There are people trying to say that Drake May's interception against the Steelers
00:18was like tipped by TJ Watt, that they've like zippered the film
00:21and it looks like it's tipped.
00:22I can promise you there's a great angle from the television broadcast
00:26from behind Drake May that shows him throwing the pass.
00:30TJ Watt's fingers never move.
00:31The ball doesn't even look like it brushed his fingers.
00:34I promise you it did not get tipped.
00:35So I think as a collective, and I think some people who think the sky is falling
00:40have already done this.
00:41Let's not make excuses for a bad decision and a bad play.
00:44We can criticize the bad play, but also expect our guy to get better
00:47and be better, and that's exactly how I feel.
00:49I think that that interception was a bad interception
00:52because he didn't step into the throw.
00:53He's doing this thing where he's like falling away from throws,
00:56and it's dumb.
00:57I don't know why he's doing that.
00:58He did it at the start of last season in that Raiders game in particular,
01:01and so just be confident and step into your throws.
01:05When Drake May steps into the football, he throws the ball as good as anybody
01:08in the league.
01:09He just needs to do it with some assertiveness and some confidence,

01:13And so, look, I don't like the play.
01:16I'm mad at him for it, but let's also not make excuses for it.

01:43and the throw to Dobbs, and so certainly in his mind, there has not been a drop-off
01:49when it comes to deep balls.
01:51I don't know if that goes back to Josh McDaniels and to what has been schemed up
01:56or is not being schemed up or what have you.
01:59But he's just not stepping into those throws of authority.

03:40but it cannot be Josh and Drake.
03:43One or the other is the reason for last year's success.
03:47And this is what Boomer had to say, and we'll react.
03:49I think there are certain times in games where, yeah,
03:53offensive coordinators can help their quarterbacks,
03:55and Josh has had so much success in this league.
03:58He's probably had more success in this league than, I would say,
04:0399.9% of offensive coordinators.
04:06So, for those people who want to get rid of Josh McDaniels,
04:10they're out of their minds.
04:11He coached an MVP-style quarterback last year.
04:14He coached one of the greatest quarterbacks, if not the greatest quarterback of all time.
04:18And I would suggest that Drake May will play better as the season goes on.

05:31And the defensiveness yesterday from Vrabel immediately saying Hunter Henry missed a block
05:37suggests to me a sensitivity about the play calling.
05:41Why would you immediately throw a player under the bus?
05:44We all know that Hunter Henry can take it, but he doesn't tell us every player that missed
