00:10stocks rose following new regulatory moves by the SEC and CFTC.
00:15The SEC introduced a five-year pilot program, allowing qualified platforms to offer tokenized
00:21versions of U.S.-listed stocks with the same dividends and voting rights as ordinary shares.
00:26Robinhood already offers about 200 tokenized U.S. stocks internationally.
00:31The CFTC also approved a temporary framework allowing certain passive software providers
00:36to connect users with regulated products, including prediction markets, without registering
00:41as brokers.
00:42The actions came after the Clarity Act fell 11 votes short of advancing in Congress.
00:47With Congress unable to pass comprehensive crypto legislation, the CFTC and SEC are moving ahead
