00:05We know many of you have been wondering what the new Gameplay Experiences Roadtrip will bring.
00:10And today, we're excited to introduce Atlas.
00:14Designed around exploration, Atlas encourages you to discover, visit, and learn more about the incredible places found across the world
00:22of American Truck Simulator.
00:24You can access Atlas from the navigation tab on your in-game desktop.
00:29As you can see, I've already made some progress here, with several regions and locations already explored.
00:35From here, I can browse everything I've discovered so far, check my overall progress, or look through the complete list
00:42of exploration locations.
00:44At the heart of Atlas are Tourist Boards, each representing a different region of a state.
00:49Every Tourist Board highlights some of that region's most significant landmarks, historical sites, and other memorable locations that we've recreated
00:58throughout the game.
01:00Looking through the Atlas, I notice there's still a Tourist Board waiting to be discovered. Let's head there and see
01:06what this region has to offer.
01:16Once I arrive and discover the Tourist Board, it reveals a collection of exploration locations spread throughout the surrounding region.
01:24I can immediately browse everything that's waiting to be discovered, learn what activities are available, and choose where I want
01:31to go next.
01:32The point of interest that caught my attention is now visible, so I'll set it as my destination and hit
01:37the road.
01:39Points of interest are a brand new type of discoverable location.
01:43Unlike viewpoints or photo trophies, there's no need to stop or activate the trigger.
01:48Simply driving through the marked area is enough to discover it.
01:51As soon as I reach the location, a new on-screen widget lets me know it's been successfully explored, accompanied
01:59by a short celebratory sound.
02:01Every newly discovered location also unlocks its own description, giving you interesting facts and background information about the place.
02:09You can revisit these details at any time from Atlas, or expand them to a full-screen view for a
02:14closer look.
02:15We definitely recommend taking a moment to do so, as it is a great way to discover even more about
02:21the unique locations you've explored throughout your journey.
02:23Atlas also includes some existing viewpoints, which reward you with cinematic cutscenes showcasing some of the most spectacular locations in
02:31the game, along with descriptions that provide additional context about what you're seeing.
02:36You'll also come across photo trophies, offering another fun way to experience and document your journey as you explore each
02:43region.
02:45Back on the Tourist Board page, I can see my progress filling in as more locations are completed.
03:00Once every exploration location connected to a Tourist Board has been discovered, the board is marked as complete.
03:06You'll receive a beautifully illustrated postcard inspired by the region you've just explored, celebrating everything you've experienced along the way.
03:14Each postcard is unique to its region, reflecting the character, scenery and landmarks you've visited throughout your journey.
03:21Best of all, these postcards aren't just stored in your Atlas.
03:24You can proudly display them on your vehicle's dashboard, giving you a personalized souvenir from every region you've fully explored.
03:32With the introduction of Atlas, you will be able to find Tourist Boards in California, and in the Oregon, Washington,
03:39Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota DLCs.
03:43We will then be gradually adding them to all the other states as well.
03:47This feature will become available to players owning any Road Trip DLC.
03:51That means you'll be able to experience it with the upcoming Ford Car Pack, and later with the Ram and
03:57Dodge Car Pack as well.
