01:10It's like one of the last American adventures

01:14The Deadhead is that person,
01:16wherever they turn up in society
01:17that's looking for an adventure,
01:19something to do
01:19that's not like what everybody else does,
01:21and a chance to get out
01:22and scare themselves a little.
01:25I haven't used the internet
01:26in 11 and a half years.
01:28Everybody wants to use GPS.
01:29I could actually map it out
01:31and write out the directions on a note card
01:33and tape it to the steering wheel.
01:35I don't know how many people
01:37just do stuff like that
01:38without much of a reason anymore,
01:40but when you're following the dead,
01:41you're doing stuff like that every day.
01:44I just love that
01:46we're able to go
01:47on all these adventures together
01:48and be like little kids
01:50traveling the country
01:51and going with our own flow.
