01:50fascinating game and lots and lots of runs first impressions on the wicket yeah it's it's it's a slow
01:58track betting track so I think batsmen really enjoyed that and credit should be given to whoever scored
02:05uh uh big on this pitch especially if he's played really well and then Tameem Iqbal and Emerald cast
02:11they really enjoyed their batting so it was a tough wicket to bowl especially for the ballers it was very
02:18slow that's why I think ballers uh overall struggled on this wicket they did indeed but a lot of plus
02:23points you've got Mahmud Hafi scoring that double century and of course had uh good support from a lot
02:29of the other batters too so just going through to the next test match what do you feel except for
02:36the
02:36pitch which is not in your hand in your team uh maybe the fine tuning yeah that's what you have
02:42to
02:42do I mean you need to improve your performance especially with the ball and especially the way we
02:47just uh uh dropped a few catches in in the first inning could have really made a difference but I
02:53think we
02:54really need to improve our efforts in the bowling especially once we have 300 uh leads on a wicket
03:01like that any on any sort of pitch I think uh we could have really uh put them under pressure
03:07but
03:08we couldn't make that impression so we have to really make sure in in the next game uh we need
03:14to
03:15be very disciplined in our boiling lines and we need to plan uh against a good place you seem to
03:22just get a
03:23little foot in right at the end today when a couple of quick wickets fell and that must have encouraged
03:27your bowlers but you must also give credit to the Bangladeshis for just keeping their cool yeah all
03:34credit to them especially the last two sessions of the fourth day uh they just uh saved the game I
03:40think
03:40in those two sessions especially with that opening partnership uh uh counter-attacked over bowling and
03:46really just uh scored 271 runs and 61 was that that was that uh partnership was the game changer I
03:54think
03:54so you were forced to bowl uh part-time bowlers at time because junaid khan in particular must have
04:01impressed you on a dead track like this he really bowled with a lot of heart yeah I think uh
04:06wahabria and
04:06junaid khan they bowed really well especially at the end uh with the second new ball and uh with the
04:13older
04:13ball uh junaid just uh get his rhythm back a little bit of ball really good spell your team has
04:19done

04:46that second test let's see it was quite brave of you to come out again to bat uh you're in

04:50pavilion for quite a while just overall assessment of your team's performance lots of records broken
04:56uh just go through that for us yeah it's really a great achievement i think in the second innings to
05:02score almost 550 plus so i think all the credit goes to the boys especially tamim and imral the
05:07way they batted i think it's really unbelievable and it's really i am privileged to seeing those
05:12guys to bat in the middle yeah i think we all were uh highest second innings total for bangladesh
05:17highest partnership ever all the records the crowd have enjoyed it so uh of course the wicket was a
05:24little docile you must agree to that yeah obviously probably it's difficult to take those 20 wickets but
05:29to be fair i thought their bowling area also great and i think our batsmen really did a great job

05:34think every run they really work hard for that and i think it's a first time i ever seen a
05:38batsman
05:39like this tamim really batted well and i think this is my best in that i ever saw so do

05:43is a turning point for bangladesh at that in the test arena you've always been tested but now the first
05:49draw ever against pakistan must harden you yeah obviously when you are behind for 300 runs and you ask for
05:56go and bat and i think that way that the batsmen especially the top order take the responsibility
06:01and batter it it's really great and i think they are now coming along with a good form with the
06:06tummy man but i think imro lay better really well also because he was not in the audience squad and
06:10come and perform well so i think yeah all the credit goes to the boys and i am really privileged
06:15to
06:15being a captain of this team yeah and we're what i wanted to another thing i wanted to mention is
06:21uh wicked wise we're talking about a docile track you're looking forward to maybe a different kind
06:26of a wicket that might help you take those 20 wickets that you need to win a test match yeah
06:31obviously we if we expected they come to see a result whether it's win or loss they don't want
06:37to see any draw so i think let's see how it prepares and i think it is still we have
06:42three more days to
06:43prepare and plan so hopefully we'll prepare a good weekend and hopefully we'll take those 20 wickets

08:51we've seen that but coming back 296 runs behind what was your mindset i know yesterday you mentioned
08:58that attack is the best defense uh what do you think of that yeah i think uh first i should

09:03taijul islam's name i think he balled brilliantly in this wicket where uh they don't have anything uh
09:09spinners doesn't have anything to offer you know and uh yeah 297 runs behind it's always a tough task to
09:16do you know but what we discussed in the team meeting we said that we'll go there enjoy our batting
09:21we won't think about the uh scoreboard pressure or anything uh and we did that you know we enjoyed
09:26our batting i played my role and imral played imral roles and everybody else tim ten uh sakib played
09:31brilliantly at the end mahmadullah did his job so it was all in all team effort a little bit of
09:36a
09:36scare right then when a couple of wickets went down you must have been a little worried but he
09:40sakib in particular rode out the tide very well didn't he yeah when mushi got out we we were a
09:45bit scared
09:46and uh you know when whenever mushi comes to bat we uh we expect him to score big runs and
09:51he has
09:51been doing it for last three four years he's been amazing um yeah so uh all good now that is
09:57the
09:57distinct change in temperament don't you think that the bangladeshes have come of age faced with a
10:02daunting task they're ready to face it very bravely yeah we have been it shows that we have been improving
10:08you know we have we have done really well in ods now we are proving it in the test cricket
10:12uh there's one
10:13more game to go and uh if we can play to our potential and do something special that will be
