06:48so they've gotten away down to uh the final boundary forums so a bright start by pakistan and brings

07:07not too much wrong with the delivery really because had sahayal missed it there might have been a very

08:15started to come back into the batsman and sahayal sure he's disappointed with that because he would
08:19have wanted to cash in out there as i'm sure saeed anwar and the others will want to do but he's gone
08:23for five beautifully bowled by samara sakira so it's seven for one in the first over
08:27ajaz am at the new man in seven for one he was second over about to start
08:37and this is why ajaz is there he'll be bowled by samar sakira in his first over see him up and it
08:42just started to angle in a little bit might have been a touch of pad that might have helped it on its
08:46way but that off stump well that make it makes it fairly decisive a good start to the emirates
08:55at short and that ball to mid wicket for him beautifully played positive start there for ajaz
09:03and like really dropping it too short he's not quick enough on this pitch he's going to drop it
09:08halfway down he's going to get picked off and that ball is going to go well there it is ajaz just behind
09:12the wicket again on the leg side and he gets off the mark with a good boundary there good positive shot

16:22late last year the catching was abysmal really took them out of the match on day one but today their
16:28fielding was better and also they're running between the wickets over the years that's been
16:31a little bit dodgy the understanding looks better today

17:03very difficult for a team like uae to compete with pakistan over just a 33 over game i'm sure they
17:12would have referred uh smithy to have played this over 50 overs
17:19yes interestingly i asked uh zoltan zarawani at the toss he said he didn't mind the short inversion
17:23he thought his sloggers might help them out a wee bit that's wide again
17:28but in the end that's very hard to slog against some of the bowling of the caliber of
17:35venus and akram mushtaq armored and uh akib javid as well it's a tough call on any lineup

18:13that's through the field that's a lovely shot

20:45are somewhere to play very well indeed
20:48and ej is just one short of his 50 now and with only three runs required for victory
20:53and he's in strike as the field comes in now to prevent the single i suspect that ej might like
20:59to do this in some sort of style and he just might go over the top again
21:04so ejaz on 49 pakistan three short of their targets
21:10straight the bowler the field being brought in by zarani all into the circle
21:18the roar goes up and
21:21he just can't get the single
21:23if it's in the slot it's going to go
21:28we're just a little bit shortish there and ejaz treating it with some respect
21:32but if it's full of length up and off
21:36he plays it into the covers and that's going to be his 50 he's home
21:40and so it's right under a wave to the pakistan balcony by ejaz and then to the crowd
21:50and they are on their feet waving the sixes and the four blackouts that they have
21:55that's the 50. well it's just a nicely controlled innings from ejaz
22:02a few boundaries in it we must work the ball back with a square and around the corner on both sides of
22:07the wicket and uh really did play well nice innings
22:11and that's victory for pakistan
22:19it's gone for four over long on 112 for one
22:25in exactly 18 overs in pakistan and one by nine looks
22:32it's been all too easy for pakistan today they'd be led by wasi makram winning the toss first and
22:37putting the united arab emirates into bat first and uae just didn't get enough runs quite clearly
22:43wonderful bowling performance too from the pakistani side as saeed anwar finishes this match in convincing
22:49style as he gets the ball over the boundary lovely shot and to the boundary for four so they win it
22:56by nine wickets but the batting performance too by pakistan with the exception of emir sahail who was
23:01out for five really saeed anwar and ejaz look to be in total control against a pretty
23:07average bowling attack at the end of the day that's a good start for pakistan no doubt about that
