00:01Hi, A.D. I'm Lucy Hale, and welcome to Elvis and Ethel's house.
00:06Should we give them a tour?
00:08Yeah, I agree. Come on in.
00:20I knew in the entryway I wanted a piece that really stopped you in your tracks,
00:25and I fell in love with this.
00:26This is a piece by Austin Heyman, and this model right here, her name is Lucy as well.
00:32So that's kind of kismet.
00:33And then this is my sheep that is unnamed yet, but maybe you guys can help me name her.
00:37And it's actually like a little stool.
00:45I knew when we redid the house, I was like, I need color. I need color.
00:49I never in a million years thought I would be the gal with a pink couch, but it feels right.
00:54I feel like the whole house is very moody femme.
00:57I worked with the best duo, Marie and Ashley, at Pro-Am, and I actually found them through Arc Digest.
01:05I was looking at Emma Chamberlain's house, and along with every other person, I fell in love with the house,
01:10and I just thought, it's something intuitively. I was like, I have to work with them.
01:13They are very busy, so I had to like get on a little wait list for a bit.
01:17I wanted this house to be a true reflection of the woman I am today and the woman I've grown
01:24into.
01:25And they just picked it up right like that.
01:27I'm a huge homebody, and I wanted it to be a place that I was excited to come home to.
01:32But it's definitely my sanctuary.
01:37Funny enough, and this was not placed by you guys, I have an AD Magazine in here.
01:41Because I have truly, no lie, been manifesting this moment for a long time.
01:45So this is a really big deal. I'm very excited you're here.
01:48When I bought this house, I was told, rumor has it, that this was Marilyn Monroe's makeup artist house.
01:54So I choose to believe that, and obviously, big Elvis fan in this house.
02:00When you grow up in Memphis, you love Elvis Presley, and you love Dustin Timberlake.
02:04My grandmother was obsessed with Elvis, and she says she got kissed by Elvis once,
02:10which is also something I just choose to believe.
02:12She also was just like such a badass and so cool, like that would happen to her.
02:16I actually have a tattoo of Elvis's name.
02:18Sometimes people are like, wait, what does that say? But it's in cursive.
02:21I love my dogs, and you want to see something else?
02:25My dog, Elvis, on a ring.
02:29Favorite thing as well.
02:31Because at night, it makes me less scared when it's on.
02:44We have a visitor. We have Miss Ethel, Madame Ethel.
02:48Typically in the morning, I will pull a tarot card for the day.
02:52I don't read tarot. I don't know too much, but I'm very into all of this.

04:47Sweet Doris was created by an incredible artist named Agnes Bailan.
04:51I don't know why I just trust Doris.
04:53I know that she's the all-seeing eye of the house.
04:55I named her Doris because that was my great-grandmother's name.
05:00And I feel really connected to her.
05:02Oh, these are the books I'm actually reading right now.
05:04Yes, I believe in animal spirit guides.
05:07So sometimes if I see an animal in my yard, I'll like quickly look at what it means.
05:12But here's my junk drawer.

05:59I usually sleep with these by my bed.
06:02But I have this guy.
06:06It's like a citrine troll.
06:08But these are, I call them my travel crystals because I take them everywhere.

06:15I feel important in this chair.
06:17It feels like I've got important decisions to make.

06:33Before this bathroom was all completely white and it just feels so warm in here.
06:39All my skincare just piled in there.

06:56I absolutely love it out here because it's really private, but it's so hot in LA right now.

07:23So my dogs are potty trained.

08:34And this is the telegram from the mayor of Memphis the day after Elvis died when they were holding a
08:43silent tribute to him.
08:44And my grandmother saved everything.
08:46Because this is the entertainment room I thought it would be cool to include.

08:50So rumor has it that this was a part of Marilyn Monroe's estate.
08:57It's not confirmed.
08:59But in my head this belonged to Marilyn Monroe.

09:09I would say I eat most of my meals here probably on the floor more so because I'm prone to

09:17The things I watch can't have too many animals in it.
09:19I had to stop watching Yellowstone back in the day because Elvis wouldn't let me.
09:25Like he was very distraught over the horses and cows.
09:28And it's so funny like certain animals don't trigger him.
09:31But all dogs forget about it.
09:32So they do kind of dictate what I watch.
09:35Oh, this is fun, the table.
09:36So this table turns on and off.
09:40And I think that's really cool.
09:41I just had family in town.
09:42My nieces actually, I haven't told my designers yet, but they spilled their chocolate milk.
09:46And they didn't tell me.
09:47And then I saw it and they were too scared to tell me because they knew we were having this
09:51shoot.
09:51But it came out and it's fine.
09:53What's furniture for if you don't use it or live in it or spill chocolate milk on it?
10:00This is the perfect hour minute moment for the stained glass that's coming across this piece.
10:08I have very vivid memories when I was growing up of my grandparents' house.
10:13They had this front door that had stained glass on it.
10:16And it's sort of to honor them.
10:19Whoa, it's bright. Be careful. Holy cow.
10:28I wanted a big girl office.
10:31I just thought that it was time at 37 that I have an office in my house.
10:38I feel like important decisions need to be made on this desk.
10:41It's like a very sturdy desk.
10:43Although you know what's funny is because I'm quite short, it hits me.

11:21This was a coat I wore on a show called Katie Keene,
11:24which was a TV show I did like maybe five years ago.
11:28This was from a show I did called Ragdoll.
11:31And this is the most recent movie I did called Princess.
11:34I need to have everything memorized.
11:36It's like a big fear of mine of not being prepared.
11:39Can you imagine? I often think of like, maybe knock on wood, Kate Winslet. Love her.
11:44Can you imagine going to work with Kate Winslet and not being prepared?
11:48You gotta be on your game.
11:49So I'm working towards that.

11:53I just went to this PLL or like a Comic Con.
11:58And I got to meet fans of Pretty Little Liars.

12:24This room is my meditation library room.
12:29I was a kid that grew up in the nineties.
12:31And remember McDonald's used to like give all the little toys.
12:34That's when my obsession with little things started.
12:36This is the perfect room to hold all of those things.
12:39And then this is just, you know, where I find my calm.
12:46It's quite nice.
12:47Probably need to spend more time in here to be honest.

13:23Basically she goes into meditation and she feels into the soul of the person she's painting for.
