00:00I think that the Jets and Giants are getting both these teams at a really good time.
00:04And the reason I say this is relatively obvious if you're paying attention to both of these teams,
00:10but no Miles Garrett for the Rams.
00:13They had to do all of this travel nonsense.
00:16They are back there with a ton of pressure on them.
00:20They looked terrible in that game.
00:22So, yeah, the whole, are they going to look terrible again?
00:25Probably not.
00:26Theory is something you could subscribe to, but I would much rather be facing a team
00:32that got their ass kicked in Australia than not.
00:36I got to be honest with you because they're all messed up.
00:39Not only did they have to go all the way over there, they were focusing on this game,
00:43thinking about it for two years, but then they got their asses handed to them over there.
00:47And now you got a confident Giants team coming in trying to exploit those issues that they had.
00:52And then on top of it, their big off-season acquisition is not playing in Miles Garrett.
00:59Their other off-season acquisition may be playing in Aaron Donald.
01:02I know he hasn't played in two years, but still, the guy was a freak in the weight room.

01:07You've seen him.
01:08And, you know, I believe he's going to play.
01:10I mean, they have to play him.
01:11And he's going to want to play.
01:13He's getting $20 million.
01:14Yeah.
01:15No, he's all.
01:15I mean, that's why.

01:17He should be playing.

01:20Is he the guy?

01:23So, listen, for all these teams that won this past week, they won the turnover battle.
01:28Everybody was a plus or at least an even, the 16 teams that won.
01:34And it goes to show you the most important statistic is that statistic.
01:39And the good thing about the Giants, they fumbled a couple times, but they recovered it.
01:43You can't go out there and Jackson Dart can't be careless.
01:46Like, that's the thing that, you know, Von Miller was talking about, Phil Simms was talking about, I've been talking
01:53about, is how accurate he was, how in command he was, and how poised he was.
01:58And he'll have to be that out in LA against everybody's preseason pick for the NFC Super Bowl entrant.
02:05So, this is not going to be, I know you're thinking travel and all that other stuff.
02:10They got back last Friday.
02:12They've been back for over a week.
02:13And usually coming back is the hard part to get used to.
02:19That's why the San Francisco game, for me, is going to be interesting.
02:22Because they spent a week over there getting adjusted to the Australian time zone.
02:27And now they're back in California.
02:29I'd like to see how they have kind of recovered from their game.

02:33I just, I don't know, I just like where the Giants are at.
02:36I'm totally drinking the Kool-Aid when it comes to John Harbaugh and the Giants and Jackson Dart.
02:41And I think that the 7.5 point spread, which it was at least a couple days ago, I don't
02:45know if it's changed.
02:46I mean, I just, I like the Giants in that spot.
02:49And with the Jets in the home opener, the Packers have so much pressure on them.
02:53You could make a case that the Green Bay Packers have the most pressure on them in Matt LaFleur in
02:57week two than any other team.
02:58You could make the case.
03:00Well, there's expectations there.
03:02Well, yeah.
03:02And every other team in their division won last week, including losing to the Minnesota Vikings.
03:09And you've got, you know, tough games for, you know, you got the Bears playing the Vikings and you also
03:15have the Lions playing the Bills.
03:16So there's some tough games there.
03:18But if Matt LaFleur, after the entire second half of last year, him blowing games, should he come back?
03:25The entire offseason, he can't blow games anymore.
03:28This guy comes out in week one, blows a game again in the second half to a division rival and
03:36a backup quarterback in Carson Wentz,
03:38who people didn't even think was going to be healthy by week one.
03:42If they go in, it's going to be absolutely apoplectic.
03:55This game for them.
03:57And, you know, when you're playing tight and under pressure, not good, man.
04:01That's true, but I won't.
04:03And to me, even though it's a home opener, it almost feels like a house money spot for the Jets
04:08right now.
