00:00The Department of Justice confirms that a panel of prosecutors of the National Prosecution Service
00:08has issued subpoenas to the respondents in the complaint filed by the Philippine National Police
00:15through the CIDG for alleged violation of Presidential Decree 1829,
00:23the law penalizing the obstruction of apprehension and prosecution of criminal offenders.
00:31The subpoenas direct the respondents to appear before the panel
00:40and submit their counter affidavits and supporting evidence.
00:45For your reference, the complainant is the PNP through the CIDG.

01:13The hearings are set on September 25 and October 9 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon here at the
