The Department of Justice (DOJ) has ordered all law enforcement agencies to implement the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa for the case of crimes against humanity in connection with the bloody drug war of the past administration.

00:09National Bureau of Investigation, NBI, to enforce the International Criminal Court Arrest Warrant for Senator Ronald Bato de la Rosa.
00:17The charges are for crimes against humanity connected to the Duterte Administration's drug war.
00:23DOJ Secretary Frederick Vida explained that the order is based on four main reasons.
00:28First, the ICC arrest warrant is still valid.
00:32Second, de la Rosa is no longer under Senate protective custody.
00:36Third, the Supreme Court denied his request for a temporary restraining order.
00:41Fourth, the government believes the ICC warrant can be enforced under Philippine law.
00:46DOJ spokesperson Rafael Martinez said the High Court's decision allows authorities to proceed with the arrest.
00:52After the order, Interior Secretary John Vic Remula said the full police force of 225,000 officers could be mobilized

01:03and PNP Chief General Jose Melencio Nartates Jr. said police are now watching airports, seaports, and other exit points.
