Senator Robinhood Padilla said Wednesday, Sept. 16, that he was “happy” upon learning that the Department of Justice (DOJ) had issued a subpoena against him over his alleged involvement in the escape of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

Padilla said he had already expected the subpoena from the DOJ, adding that its issuance by what he described as a “dayuhan” intensified the “Katipunero” in him. (Video courtesy of Senate of the Philippines)
