00:00More breaking news coming in. Cornered over the naval collision, Pakistan is now crying foul.
00:05Now, it's in another copycat gesture. Pakistan has summoned India's envoy in Islamabad and has
00:10lodged a protest, claiming that it was the Indian naval warship which created the transgression
00:16by colliding with the Pakistan vessel here. Pakistan says that while the Pakistan Navy
00:20was undertaking its biennial exercise, C-SPARC-26, the Indian vessel carried out aggressive
00:26maneuvers in dangerously close proximity of the Pakistan naval vessel, resulting in contact
00:31between the two ships. And then I'm continuing to read Pakistan's statement here. It has urged
00:35the international community once again, once again escalating an issue which is between
00:40two nations, to call upon India to abandon its posture. Let me go across to my colleague
00:44Shivani for more details. Shivani, typical Pakistan trademarks coming in. Number one, doing copycat
00:50gestures, reciprocating what India does. And second, once again, taking things to the international
00:55forum for every bilateral issue.
00:58See, Sancho, this is the incident which had taken place today and now Pakistan is giving
01:05out a similar statement on similar lines which India had given, the objection which India had
01:12raised, the shadi affairs of Pakistan was summoned by India and the MEA had given out a statement
01:19in the day. Similar statement has now come in from Pakistan that seems that this is a copycat act by
01:28Pakistan as it has been doing in the past also. A similar statement. But one thing which is important to
01:33mention out here that after this incident, the Pakistani ship has faced severe damages. It had to go to the
01:41harbour for repairs while the Indian ship has been carrying out its mission. And it was Pakistan which did not
01:48adhere to the agreement that was met in 1991. It did not follow the rules. It did not behave in
01:57a professional manner. And that's what has been highlighted by the India's MEA. Now this statement coming in from Pakistan
02:04totally shows that Pakistan is saving its face and it is trying to deviate onto whatever
02:11whatever it has done in this whole incident.
02:14All right Shani, thanks a lot for joining us with those details.
