00:01I'm looking great.
00:03Do you mind if I see how this looks, brother?
00:04Abigail, take one.
00:06Best medicine, season two.
00:07Oh.
00:09It's the best.
00:13When we first meet Martin in season two,
00:15he's got a lot going on.
00:16He is still our local town doctor.
00:19And Doc has a blood phobia,
00:21which is really hard to deal with.
00:22He doesn't want it being held over his head anymore.
00:24Very early on in the season,
00:25there is a moment where it feels right to tell the town,
00:28I have a blood phobia.
00:30And now my entire medical career is in jeopardy.
00:32We'll see what happens with that.
00:34This season, you know, Eden is back in town.
00:37She's now going back and forth between Boston and Fort Wend
00:40because of Louisa's IVF journey.
00:42And her and Martin are together.
00:45What?
00:45She's rearranged his office
00:47and I think rubbed a lot of the town the wrong way.
00:50Let the fun begin.
00:52They certainly don't like what she's brought back out in Martin.
00:55I don't have time for your nonsense right now.
00:57I'm a doctor and I'm trying to save a life.
00:59Dr. Best sucks!
01:00They obviously have medicine in common.
01:02They have a history together.
01:04We're going to get you over this blood phobia, okay?
01:07We're going to get you back to Boston
01:09so you can get the respect you deserve, okay?
01:11Exactly.
01:11I think there is a connection there,
01:13but it always feels like it's slightly missing.
01:15This weekend, it was nice.
01:20It was?
01:21Mm-hmm.
01:22I think his connection to Louisa is a big part of it.
01:24I was sure that Louisa and Martin were going to be together.
01:29That's what we hope to go on the journey of
01:31will they, won't they, watching two people
01:33to see what will happen.
01:37Yep.
01:37We're going to have to amputate from the neck up.
01:39What?
01:40There's some really interesting quirky medical cases this year.
01:44I've seen a lot of things in my day.
01:47Mermaids might be real.

01:50I got Tourette's and poison ivy.
01:53We have three positive pregnancy tests and they're all men?
01:57Hey, but why are you both going ooh?
01:59Not sure. It just felt like something I was supposed to do.
02:01Me too.
02:01You're going to get more crazy events in Port Wendt.
02:04So many things go off the rails.
02:07Ah!

02:11No one!
02:13We have a lobster crate race.
02:16We have...
02:17No more smoking.
02:19That darn Andrea Martin.
02:21What do you think, I am a moron?
02:22Absolutely 100% yes.
02:24If he says how much he dislikes the people,
02:26why does he stay here?
02:27He is Port Wendt through and through.
02:29And there is his blood phobia.
02:31If he's able to conquer that, we might lose him.
02:35What's beautiful about season two is now we know all the characters.
02:38Their relationships, the dynamics.
02:41You get to see these familiar faces that have made you laugh,
02:43that have made you cry.
02:44People who care about each other.
02:46You're one of us and you belong here.
02:49Stop with the oohing.
02:50There's no reason to oo.
02:52Stories about community.
02:54And the grounded moments.
02:56I think that's the kind of place that we'd all like to live in.
02:59Put life aside for a little bit and watch the people in this town.
03:02Because it's part of the fun of it.
03:03Well, it is our plans, but for years he's still a person for all these couple of years.
