00:09The Rockefeller Foundation survey finds that 39% of respondents are comfortable with US leadership,

00:20More than 35,000 people across 34 countries took part in the survey between July 21 and August 5.
00:27Canada received the strongest support at 60%, followed by Japan at 58%.
00:33Australia and the European Union each received 55% support,
00:38putting them ahead of both the United States and China.
00:41Russia ranked lowest among the major powers surveyed,
00:44with only 26% comfortable with it taking a leading international role.
00:49The findings also point to strong support for international cooperation
00:53that does not rely on leadership from either Washington or Beijing.
00:56About 61% supported countries working together without the United States or China,
01:02despite the two remaining the world's largest economies.
