00:02Today, I'm going to be talking about The Batman, the complete series on Blu-ray, and
00:11I'm also going to talk about the Blu-ray itself.
00:15So, The Batman is a cartoon show.
00:21It had like five seasons.
00:23It came on TV in 2004 through 2008, and it was like on Saturday mornings, it was on the
00:38Kids' WB, and then later on, the WB merged with UPN to the CW.
00:56And I remember the Batman came out, when it was coming out, I remember being on TV, but
01:08I never watched it, because I always liked the 1990s cartoon, the Batman anime series, I always
01:21liked that one the best.
01:22So, like after the Batman anime series was over, I always felt like if they made another Batman
01:32cartoon, it couldn't top the 1990s cartoon, the Batman anime series.
01:43And then, I remember online, I see pictures of the bad guys, and it was like, that was another
01:59reason why I didn't watch the Batman anime series on TV, because I really didn't like the character's
02:09designs.

02:11I'm gonna show you.
02:16Like, um, that's the Joker.
02:27the Rettler.
02:34So, I was like, nobody, yeah.
02:40so um and then like oh my like oh how about like like they recently have um it's it's several
02:51it's that robin and then late on back go on this cartoon they had um back old and late on
02:59robin
03:00and i remember um when i heard about it when i read about online that um i heard that like
03:10like robin's
03:11gonna be batman's sidekick and and back oh she's gonna be jealous uh when i when i read about online
03:21i was thinking like this cartoon the batman they're gonna have back over robin act like um
03:30brother and sisters so i was like that was another reason why i didn't i watched this cartoon because
03:36of that um the you know the characters are the joker and the whittler and i felt like this cartoon
03:43was
03:43like was toned down like like younger kids it always felt like like um like any any because i always
03:55like the the the 1990s cartoon the batman anime series because i like it like so much like there
04:02was no there was no any batman cartoon couldn't top that and like um so that's why um that's the
04:12reason i never watched on tv so years later i wanted to show um the batman that i watched it
04:19was like
04:19they made all the batman cartoons one of them was um batman brave and bold and i ended up um
04:27you know
04:27i did i did watch um a couple episodes on tv and then like years later i got the
04:35old episodes on dvd
04:38and um like ever since then i gave the the batman cartoons a chance
04:47because i um i i learned that um
04:53they they made so many um batman cartoons even though even the ones before that came out the
05:00batman anime series was like ones like in the 60s to 70s and you know like and also before the
05:07batman
05:08anime series um batman was called the the super friends cartoon back 60s 70s and then like i learned
05:18that there was like on me you got like different voyages of batman especially especially with comic books
05:24you got one for like kids and you got one for like all the teenagers like grown-ups
05:31like some of them called graphic novels and then years later you got like um they made a lot of
05:37batman live action movies like different voyages
05:42and um yeah so i saw so i wanted to give this a chance
05:51and then when this came out on blu-ray i got i watched all the episodes
05:58and i i i i thought it was okay but um i i like it a little bit i still
06:03like the
06:04the 1990s car 2 batman anime series but this this one wasn't too bad
06:10so like the reason why i got the got this the the batman could be series because
06:16batman is my favorite comic book superhero batman has no superpowers he's just man in the costume
06:24so yeah so um pretty much the this cartoon the batman it takes place
06:34like um all years as bruce rain as batman
06:41and like it takes place in cotton city bruce rain has a bottle named alford and he's like um
06:50and yeah it's like like he kind of like started as batman like like all he is i mean like
06:58maybe he's like a third year as batman that's how like
07:02like all he bruce rain is as batman like
07:06all he is a batman it's not like the other batman cartoons or movies where
07:12bruce rain we see bruce rain as batman but he but bruce rain has been as batman like
07:19he's been doing he's been doing like a long time
07:22this one's like he's still long still long as um bruce rain still long as batman
07:30so um yeah so they made um five seasons um i the late late seasons i like i like these
07:42seasons each season is different i don't want them give away
07:48um this this card when they made this cartoon they don't they don't want them
07:55they don't want to be exactly like the the nice nice cartoon batman anime series like they
08:02they changed it they want this cartoon the batman this one they wanted to do their own thing
08:09and that was like something i learned from it um
08:13um the thought the animation was okay the as for the the characters um there's this couple count
08:22there's some characters there's a couple characters i never that's it in this cartoon
08:28that i like that's not from um 1990s cartoons like um talk about the characters you got this um
08:36um a woman i think her name's ellen she's um a detective and then later on she teams up with
08:45um with batman
08:47and then you got this um there's a man his name is aathan he's a police officer
08:55and he's also a childhood friend of bruce rain
08:59so i like the two characters i like the detective ellen and um aathan as for the bad guys um
09:10i thought this cartoon the bad guys this cartoon was okay um there's a couple of them i really
09:19um i like that before like um ragdoll the black mask
09:25that's one of the the most of the bad guys i was i i was from familiar with was like
09:30um
09:31clay for clay face poison ivory the penguin cat woman killer clock mr freeze the joker harley quinn
09:39bane the wet learner and then you got um the other cap the other characters black mask
09:47and right ragdoll and um ragdoll is um i really like him i never
09:55never heard of him because i'm not i never read the i'm not i'm not familiar with him like in
10:02the
10:02comics and ragdoll he's um he's able he's a bad guy he's able to like move his arms and legs
10:13like um
10:14like he's able to bend his arms and legs like almost like a press though so i have um show
10:21you
10:25say um yeah uh that's um if you can't see i apologize
10:36that's ragdoll
10:41yeah yeah
10:44um i said before in this cartoon they had um
10:52batman's his sidekick was um in this cartoon was was vacko and then later was robin
11:01and the reason why they did that the reason why in this cartoon they um batman's sidekick was vacko
11:12before robin because um because you know in 2003 they made a cartoon show team titans
11:21and on the cartoon show team titans it's 2003 cartoon um robin was on it so when this card this
11:29cartoon got
11:30made um like 2004 through 2008 so when this cartoon got made they couldn't um they couldn't use the
11:39character robin because the character robin was already on teen titans they even mentioned about it
11:47in the special features so um so so vacko came for us and then like um the late late on
11:57they finally um got robin in this so yeah
12:03and yeah the special features is good because they talk about that um
12:09um they talk about this cartoon won't be different like this whole thing they don't want to be like
12:15the 1990s cartoon the anime series so yeah
12:21it's the the front
12:25and back right there that's batman
12:31um robin and that's the only bad guy that's firefly
12:37oh yeah it has all the special features oh yeah so the special features are good
12:52so if you if you get this definitely check out special features

15:10so it's only yeah with six disc
15:14it actually tells you in the front
15:17right right there actually it tells you what that's how many discs are six
15:28If you like this card, if you like this one, the Batman, or this is one of your favorite
15:35cartoons, you should get this on Blu-ray, and those for you who like Batman or never
