Jetsons: The Movie DVD/Blu-ray Collection.
Jetsons: The Movie.
1990 Animated Movie/Film.
Directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
Based on The Jetsons by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
This was the final theatrical film directed by legendary creators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It served as a swan song for the original voice cast; George O'Hanlon (George) and Mel Blanc (Mr. Spacely) both passed away during production. The 1990 film was noted for its early use of CGI to render the asteroid and complex machinery, which often clashed with the traditional hand-drawn character designs. The soundtrack is heavily influenced by late-80s/early-90s pop, featuring songs like "Maybe Love" and "Home" by Tiffany, and the "Jetsons' Rap" by XXL. Jeff Bergman was used in some scenes, because George O'Hanlon and Mel Blanc died during production. The film is dedicated to the memory of both men. Daws Butler passed away in 1988, before Jetsons: The Movie, was being made or being in production. Patric Zimmerman ended up doing the voice of Elroy Jetson because because Daws Butler passed away in 1988.
Jetsons: The Movie is about George is promoted to vice president and moves the family to an orbiting mining colony. The story takes an environmental turn when they discover the facility is destroying the underground homes of the "Grungees," leading to a conflict between corporate greed and conservation.

00:03So, today, I'm going to be talking about, and I'm also going to show you my collection
00:09of Justin's the Movie on DVD, Blu-ray, and a magazine.
00:15So, it's a DVD, Blu-ray, and a magazine.
00:50So, just since the movie, it came out in movie theaters in 1990.
01:00And I saw it in the movie theater, and I liked it.
01:05It's about George and his family.
01:15They move to a distant planet because Mr. Spacely promotes George to take charge of a new factory on a
01:29distant planet.
01:29And when George finds out that the new factory is destroying the underground creature's home, George tries to stop the
01:44new factory from destroying the underground creature's home.
01:50So, you know, so you got, like, all the characters.
02:02There's, um, Apollo Blue.
02:06There's, um, Tay-2.
02:11And, um, uh, there's Forgy.
02:18and it's a character named, um, Screep, yeah, and, um, yeah, so I, when I was, so I saw this
02:30when I was a kid in the movie theater, and, um, I remember, yeah, I saw the movie theater,
02:37I remember, um, liking it, and I used to have this, um, movie, um, VHS, and I, um, I watched
02:51a couple times on VHS, and then when it's, um, and when I found the DVD was coming out,
03:00like, I got this from the DVD first came out, um, retail stores, and then, um, and then
03:11the Blu-ray, I got this at Amazon.com, and, um, the, the, the, the magazine, I got, I got
03:30this on eBay, I got, I got this, like, um, like, one time ago on eBay, like, before, um,
03:38like, way before, like, the, the, the Blu-ray was coming out, like, I think I got this, like,
03:44in the mid-2000s, yeah, this is, um, a magazine called, uh, a comic scene, and on the front
03:55cover, um, you see the Jesses, and, um, the comic scene magazine, they, they do, um, they
04:03talk about the Jesses movie, so, yeah, so, um, so, um, so, um, I, so I saw this in the
04:18movie
04:19theater, I, I, I, I like it, and I remember, I was a kid, I, I, when I was a
04:25kid, um, I
04:26had this on VHS, and I, I, I, I watched it, like, a couple times, and, like, when I saw
04:35the movie, in the movie theater, I, you know, I enjoyed the movie, didn't, didn't think nothing
04:40of it, and then when I saw, when I watched it, like, again, on VHS, I noticed, um, Judy
04:50Jessen, she sounded different, like, she, she, she sounded like she had, like, a soft throat,
04:59and, like, I, I, I, I never knew why she, she sounded different in, um, in Jessen's movie,
05:06me, and then years later, like, many years later, like, after I got this, um, like, on,
05:15like, on DVD, I, I looked it up online, like, Wikipedia, like, read, read about the Jesses
05:23movie, like, and, um, then I, I found out why, um, Judy Jessen sounded different, because
05:32that she, um, she, they had, like, um, a different person doing the voice of, um, Judy Jessen,
05:41so, um, so they, so, okay, so the, the original voice actress who, who does voice of Judy, Judy
05:50Jessen, her name's, um, Janet Waldo.
05:56So, there's good news and bad news, um, the, the good, the good news is, um, Janet Waldo,
06:09she originally recorded the voice of Judy Jessen in Jessen's movie, the bad news is, she
06:17got, um, replaced by a, a pop singer named Tiffany, and the, the reason why they had,
06:24um, she got replaced by Tiffany, because somebody who, who made the movie, who, who was behind
06:31the movie, they wanted Tiffany to do the voice of Judy Jessen, because, um, because in 1980s,
06:39um, this movie came out in 1990s, so, like, in 1980s, um, Tiffany, she was, like, oh, like,
06:47a pop singer, and she was, um, I want to say, like, I think she was, like, popular, I want
06:55to say, like, she's popular enough, like, they wanted to help, get her to do the voice of
07:00Judy Jessen, and, um, yeah, that's why, that's why she sounded different, so, I like,
07:09I like Tiffany, I don't have nothing against Tiffany, I like Tiffany, but I wish they had,
07:16um, Janet Waldo do the voice of Judy Jessen instead of, um, Tiffany, like, um, this, this
07:24movie has, um, has, has music from Tiffany, so, I, I wish they did, um, I, I wish they
07:33did, like, you know, get, get Janet Waldo do the voice of Judy Jessen, and, like, in, in
07:39the movie, when you watch the movie, like, when you see, um, like, Judy's, like, singing,
07:46have the singing part done by Tiffany, so, that's, that's, um, I wish they did that,
07:55and I, I, I, I, I like the, the music in this, so, yeah, this movie came out in 1990,
08:02and this movie felt like, it came out, like, 1987 or 1988, and I remember, like, um, the, the,
08:13the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the original cartoon came
08:16in, like, 1962, and had, like, they only made one season, and, and because of that, it was
08:25canceled, and then, the, the cartoon became popular, it was, like, on reruns, it was, like,
08:29part, on a Saturday morning, like, if you watch Saturday morning cartoons back, like, in late
08:35six, 1960, 1970s, they had, um, the original cartoon, the Jessen's, and, like, in, in the 1980s,
08:45they brought back the Jessen's, the, like, um, like, they did, like, like, like, like, new episodes,
08:53was, like, part of, like, season two, and season three, and they got, um, the original, um, voice
09:01actors in, in it, so, yeah, um, so, pretty much, um, pretty much, they got the, the original
09:12voice actors, like, couple of them, I think one of them passed away, and I know that is,
09:20um, like, what's the name, the, the voice actor does the voice of George Jessen, and, and
09:28Mel Blanc, they both, um, I don't know if they recall the whole, the whole movie of their
09:35voices, of the whole movie, but they, um, they, I, I think they both passed away during,
09:43um, the production of the Jessen's movie, so, like, I think somebody, um, I think they
09:51not, not the whole movie was, like, maybe, like, few scenes, they had, like, um, somebody else
09:57take over the voice, so, uh, so I thought, um, I thought the person who, who took over the voice
10:04of George Jessen, Miss, Miss Spacely did, um, a good job, yeah, and, like, I liked, um, you know,
10:13the characters of, like, like, a, like, a teenager, names, um, Apollo Blue, and, um, and what else, um,
10:24um, um, other characters, um, was, like, um, was it Teddy II, you know, Foggy, and then, and one of
10:37the,
10:37the, the, the creatures who lived on, on, on, under the ground, names Screep, yeah, so, just, um,

15:39is the the the the dumb disc cover and keel love they always they always they always put
15:50their logo on their desk uh i don't i mean like if i put if i have my own company
15:58and i put the dumb
16:00any movie on elon dv or blu-ray um my logo be on this but like like a small print
16:11it'd be my logo
16:12be like on the small print on the desk and it won't end the don't look would be different i
16:22don't know

17:21and for those who like this movie um you should get to some blu-ray because of um
17:28the special features so yeah
17:33um
17:36so the comic scene magazine they talk about um
17:41just as the movie so it's the front
17:44in the in the back as um
17:48like advertisements like
17:50the tracing rooms too
17:54um
17:55um
18:05yeah
