00:00And the ticker is Play, P-L-A-Y, and the company is Dave & Buster's.
00:07So the stock is taking it on the chin this morning, down 13%.
00:10This is the restaurant and arcade chain operator.
00:14I went to many a birthday party here back in the day, might I say.
00:18Revenue for the second quarter missed the estimate.
00:21Company logged a loss of $12.5 million in the most recent quarter.
00:25It's struggling to regain relevancy, it says, with its customers.
00:30Revenue fell to about 2.5%, driven by a nearly 9% decline in entertainment-related sales.
00:36You know, they have a new CEO, Darren Harper.
00:38He started about a month ago.
00:39He says he plans to focus on making the chain a go-to location for special occasions,
00:44and he wants to improve the value for guests.
00:47He didn't give specifics on how he hopes to do that.
00:49All right.
00:50But I think one thing you might want to do is lower the volume.
00:53Yes.
00:54It's very loud in there.
00:55Yes, exactly.
00:56Part of the fun, maybe.
00:57Part of the joke.
00:57I remember when the concept was new, and it was like, this is great.
01:01Yeah.
01:01And after the third birthday party, you're like, never again.
01:05Yes, exactly.
01:06It's kind of like the Chuck E. Cheese experience.
01:08Yes.
01:08That's what I, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:10So that is what's going on with Dave & Buster's.
01:13Coinbase.
01:13So it's not just Coinbase.
01:15It's having a tough day.
01:16But also these crypto-related companies.
01:18So Robinhood, Bitcoin, Investor Strategy, they're all lower today.
01:23Coinbase itself, though, is down about 4% and down about 15% year to date.
01:28So we know the Senate's set to vote on the crypto regulation bill, the Clarity Act, this afternoon.
01:34The bill needs 60 votes to avoid a filibuster.
01:37Republicans hold 53 seats, meaning they have to win support from at least seven Democrats.
01:42And lawmakers disagree on a number of things here on the ethic rules tied to digital asset holdings.
01:47Other disputes, questions remain over anti-money laundering requirements and stable coin yields.
01:53Look, Congress only has a few working days left, right, before lawmakers leave Washington for the November midterm.
01:58So now we've got platforms like Polymarket putting the odds of that Clarity Act passing at between 18 and 30%.
02:06Quick, what's a working day at Congress?
02:08Oh, I don't know.
02:09I mean, can you go just a couple of weeks without taking a recess?
02:13That's what I'm talking about.
02:14I mean, it's just out of control.
02:14It's a working day.
02:15Yeah, I don't know.
02:16And then I've got Waystar.
02:18So this is a software provider.
02:20Yeah, not Wayfair, but Waystar.
02:23A software provider whose products are used by hospitals and doctors, they manage payments for them.
02:29So Reuters has an exclusive story out saying that Waystar is looking at a potential sale.
02:35That would actually take the company private just two years after it went public.
02:40So according to Reuters, Evercore is advising.
02:43But they said.
