00:04call to cackle at some goofy minigames, right? Well, what if those minigames put you and your
00:10friends against each other in an absolute bloodbath? I'm not talking about pinching points
00:15and sacrificing each other for the sake of a good bit, I mean actually throwing your friends into
00:19a pit or purposely pushing them in front of spinning blades so you can come out victorious.
00:24This is where Machine Party, a brutal party game which lets you do all of the above and more,
00:28comes in. You and three friends will go head to head in 15 different party games,
00:33but don't expect any Jackbox style humour here. Instead you'll do things like smoke a cigarette,
00:38or chase each other around with a syringe, or race up an elevator. More often than not,
00:43the first one to finish wins and if you fail, you die. That's it. There are no other options,
00:48you either get blown up, shot, squished, mangled by rotating blades or spikes, you know, the
00:53opportunities seem endless. It's incredibly brutal, you see the pixelated blood and gritty organs of
00:58your friends more than you probably would in any other game. However, the frantic nature and quick
01:03speed of each little game does make it fun, in a sort of sick way. You'll just have to take
01:08my word
01:08for it. That is as long as you're the person who comes out on top. When your friends are laughing
01:13down the mic after they've successfully pushed you into another landmine or in front of a train,
01:17it's not so enjoyable. It does fuel the fire you need to take them down in the next round though.
