00:00Every once in a while, a special kind of game comes along that's as hilarious as it is fun to
00:05play.
00:06Saints Row 4, South Park the Fractured But Whole, and Thank Goodness You're Here are all prime examples.
00:12But at this year's Summer Game Fest, I went hands-on with the next big game in this style.
00:17My Arms Are Longer Now.
00:19It's basically a robbery simulator, where you control a freakishly long limb that can weave its way through levels to
00:25complete tasks,
00:26from breaking objects to swiping precious belongings.
00:30Upon seeing the big pink appendage for the first time, it's hard not to let out a giggle.
00:34But the real comedy comes from the NPCs you torment.
00:37Hearing the deflated dialogue of one Porsche soul as I nicked his bike gave me Auntie Donna vibes,
00:43and the surrealist humor ramped up throughout my session.
00:46After an all-too-brief playthrough of the limited demo build,
00:49I left feeling a small void that only genuinely good games leave in us,
00:53where I wanted to play more immediately.
00:56But instead have to wait until it releases on PC, although there's no fixed date yet.
01:01Let's hope it's not too far off, because I'm eager for more laughter.
