Building collapse in Sao Paulo leaves at least two dead
An official with the São Paulo Fire Brigade confirmed that at least two people were killed after a building collapsed onto a house in the eastern part of the city early Saturday. Emergency crews continued working at the scene, where two people were rescued and six remained missing. According to local media, members of a family of Bolivian origin lived in the house that collapsed. At the site, Herbert Chino, a relative of those missing, awaited news of his 39-year-old wife and 7-year-old daughter, who remained trapped beneath the rubble after his 5-year-old daughter was rescued alive.
